New here, just relapsed.

    Hey guys, noob here. Just relapsed about half an hour ago, after only being on day 6 of nofap. I was doing so well too, finally got back into exercising and meditating, I also cut down on smoking cigarettes/weed too.
    It's just that since day 3, the urges were just increasing ten fold each time, I eventually gave in.
    I've written a message to read to myself if I ever feel the need to relapse again, but do you guys have any successful ways to avoid fapping. I just can't stop touching myself, even just playfully - I can't keep my hands off my dick.

  2. Hey bro I'm new here too! I relapsed today as well. I don't know any successful ways to avoid PMO just yet (my longest streak of nofap is 5 days) but I just wanna start giving others motivation to hopefully motivate myself too. We got this!

    You have to see the reality of what you're up against. This will help for starters. Check out yourbrainonporn.com. Get educated about this addiction. The whole process will amaze you. Read the forums: success stories, addiction, rebooting. Use some common sense. There are some"gurus" here that can't make it more than a week. Some will try to justify masturbating occasionally. Steer clear of these guys. Some mean well. But their "streaks" speak for themselves. Accountability is something to consider if you're serious about this.     An addiction this strong is gonna take time bro. 6 days is quite a while for something that you've most likely done everyday. You should be glad of your accomplishment and yet never condone pmo to yourself. The fact you feel bad shows your trying. Just curious what did you do on the day u caved? Write out what you did all day and how you were feeling it will help show you your triggers and what you need to do to avoid easy access to porn... Daily logs will help big time. It is for me anyway
