    Hi lads,

About two weeks into the journey, I found my urge at night were very strong. I beat the last few days thinking "oh just one more day" but at the same time I could help but think that I am letting something pleasurable go away. Yesterday, I just had enough because I missed the feeling too much and I relapsed.

I need suggestion on how to deal with this feeling. Every time I deny it, I just can't but think about how I also denying myself of something pleasurable.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Your brain has been programmed to think that porn is the greatest feeling in the world. It will take time for your brain to heal and realize that porn does more damage than good for your pleasure. The only way to deal with this feeling is to actually feel it without acting out in using PMO. Embrace the pain and use it to your advantage. Porn is a cheap trick while actual healthy sex is the richest of riches. Don't let your addict lie to you into thinking porn is the ultimate pleasure because it's not. All love and strength to you brother!

Agree with the above. I'm guessing you have that feeling at night because that's when your brain was in the habit of having PMO. But don't give in to that feeling. Just because something is pleasurable doesn't mean it's good or healthy. Would you tell a heroin addict that it's okay to go ahead and shoot up, just because it feels good? No. People don't like to admit it, but porn is a drug too. Think of it less as you "denying" yourself something pleasurable and more as you having the self-discipline to resist something that is ultimately of no benefit to you. Replace PMO with activities that are actually productive (working out, reading, meditating) and you will feel better for it in the long run!! Just trust the process and keep going. You can do it!!

if it help tell yourself that a few months from now they will be plenty of new contents by then you might have build up enough resistance to keep going if you notice any benefit.

The problem is that you try not to think about it. It's like the old Idea of not thinking about pink elephants and the more you try not to, the more you think about them so instead of just trying not to think about m, try to focus on something else. Reading something that makes you think helps
