I have Latex fetish, porn and masturbation addiction, please help!

    Ok.. I don't know in which forum to write so I will just write it here. When I was 11, I searched up for "tight leather pants" and looked at the pictures of women. Leather and Latex looked perfect on them. Once a time I watched it again and ejaculated. I felt extremely ashamed. I wathed it again and again.. I was addicted to it. I wanted to feel latex so I used plastic foil. I stealed some condoms fom my parents and masturbated with it. Back then I masturbated just once a month and did it only in my bed or at the bathroom. But now I do it everyday, everywhere. It is so out of control that I even masturbate in my grandparents house when nobody is there.* It is also bad for me becouse I'm muslim; if we ejaculate we have to take a bath, without it we can't pray. And sometimes don't have the time for it.*
    I can't concentrate myself to study. Everytime I sit on my chair and open a book, I feel the urge to masturbate.
    So, my goals are:
    * Stop looking at pornographic pics
    *Regulate masturbation and get rid of addicted to it.
    I hope you help me to get rid of this. I would be very thankful.

  2. Hello @Da User and welcome. It's good you joined and look for help. I am sure you will find a lot of support here, there are guys around your age here who can become good recovery buddies, I am sure. Your goals sound good to me.
    My advice would be to go one day at a time. In the morning when you get up you make a plan for that day. Make a promise to yourself: Today I will stay clean and sober. Just today. That's not that hard. Only today. Tomorrow we'll see. One day is manageable. I can do this. I am worth it. I will keep my pants up and my hands above the table. Today. Yes.
    And with each day you grow stronger. Focus on where you want to go, what you want in life and why. Being clean for prayer is nice but better is staying clean, sober and hence healthy for your own benefit which you then can share with your loved one. Love is the word. Love fulfills. Porn and wanking is junk. Junk sex. Like there is junk food. Porn industry is a lab for human testing, like animal experimentation. We let them use us and become sex junkies. Love is what you want.

  4. Good luck dude. I hope you find freedom from your demons. Start with small positive habits in your everyday life. These add up over time and help a lot. Don't give up.

    I developed a similar fetish but for women in just yoga pants or softer looking tight fitting material (spandex). It's funny isn't it? I can look at latex and not be turned on at all guys into latex and shiny stuff are not turned on by women in spandex. but like mine escalated to where the material became the primary thing.

    First, it's important to not be ashamed - shame is what is keeping us in the dark - it's great that you've come here and faced this and want to get better.

    Second you are not a bad person for having this happen and you are not your fantasies or fetishes, anymore than someone with a drinking problem is defined by it.

    Read journals of people here who have been successful and see what works for you.
    start your own journal in the appropriate section (broken down by age, but you should read and post on anyone you connect with) and record what works, what doesnt' and your progress and set backs.

    Pick some self improvement material to read- There are books on sexual addictions like Patrcik Carne's out of the shadows.

    Most people here who are successful do a few things:
    • some form of mediation - if this is not compatible with your religion perhaps there is some similar thing (in Christianity we have the rosary for example) you can practice; apologies if i am incorrect, but I believe Islam for example as a five prayer a day ritual? Something like that, done mindfully would be a great way to frame your day.
    • learn some techniques to deal with anxiety -a lot of this is driven by anxiety and 'escaping'
    • cold showers
    • exercise - this is KEY!
    • low sugar keto/paleo diet
    • journaling
    • reading quit material.
