I feel that all the accumulated motivation that I built in these days faded away. I am feeling horrible right now, and I want to start again, but my willpower is so low. I guess, maybe I can find some help here. I don't even have the power to resist the triggers. I am feeling so burnt out.

  2. Take a cold bath my friend. Do a little meditation and begin anew. I know that's easier said than done. But you must regain some composure. Only then can you put this relapse behind you.

    Good luck comrade!

  3. It's always like this after a very long streak, the lack of motivation is better but with time your motivation will return, believe me

Workout at home or at gym then get some ice put in a bathtub run water on cold and jump in then meditate in the cold water. You will feel new.

  8. The positive is this: you have done 100+ days. Think back and learn from the experience. What worked? What didn't? How can you make things better next time?

Remember, as you go through a streak like this the factors affecting your addiction change. In the first 2 weeks it is just a white knuckle ride, just a case of getting through each day. By 100 days, complacency is the #1 enemy. You feel on top of the world, but how the mighty can fall?

Strategy, strategy, strategy.... the only way. Get past 200 days and you will be a different person.

Look at this in a positive way.... a day of relapse following 106 days nofap should be viewed as 'only one day PMO in 107 days, one day relapse in 108 days, one day in 109 etc etc

Hi, I also just relapsed after 105 days. You have to ask yourself what you truly want out of doing nofap, try not to get blinded by anything else but your own goals. My goals I'm hoping to achieve with nofap are that; I want to stop twisting what it is I actually want in life, when this does happen (through long time use of pmo) Im pretty sure I end up with depressive and anxious symptoms. I feel like I suffer from severe mood swings all due to the fact I'm PMOing. I also want to be able to continue this for life. I'm fine with resets after 20/30/50 days. As of right now.

That is the main reason, but I also enjoy that I can get more from relationships - I can feel that I become a better person whilst off pmo.

I also want to get rid of the phases after a relapse where I tend to spiral down in terms of progress.

Try identifying what it is your exactly doing and why. 105 days is a lot of time not dealing with the pain that caused this in the first place.

First, relapse or reset? Sounds like a reset to me, and that's a better place to be.

Second, this didn't come from nowhere. You're feeling low all around, and part of getting through that period is recognizing what is going on and that it's a temporary situation. Your motivation was dipping before you reset, and the reset is driving it even lower, but there's something else going on. Take some time to recharge, do the bath thing like @Aram124 said, use a day off to recenter and do a life inventory. Find some things to be grateful for. I have one for you already.

You are no longer ruled by P.

Yeah I know, reset, urges, maybe you'll experience some brain fog, the fight may be a little more intense in the next week or so than usual, but dude! 106 days?!? You know how to beat this, you have this, and P's hold on you is very, very weak. It's a thing you did to make yourself feel better in a low moment, it's not something you require to get through the day anymore.

So get grounded, remind yourself of all the good things in your life, and why you're kicking the habit, and that you are a mighty being. You've got it.

This is really inspiring. We have similar reasons.. and it's just a lifetime battle. I got confident and that's wrong. I should have been more aware.. , but you are right. Thank you so much bro. Much appreciated

This is the best thing I have read so far. You wrote, and described the situation precisely. You are right, this journey had its own ups and downs. Your words are so inspiring and motivated. Thank you so much, much appreciated
