I can't really say, I believe after many years of cutting back on porn I overcame PIED without fully quiting (not an excuse to carry on watching porn), but in that time of suffering I came to suffer with AIED which is now thankfully sorted. So I would say to overcome it all took 5 years, it's not an easy thing to deal with and it takes a lot of patience.

It can happen, but like I say, it turned into Anxiety Induced ED, so it was very much on and off and depended on how the sexual interaction was, if it was pornographic in feeling, it worked ocassionally, but that wasn't healthy at all. I am saying that this year is the first year it has worked without fail, all other years had on and off moments and weeks and months and so on.

It took me in the 12-18 months range. Although there were setbacks and relapses during that time.

Mine got better after a couple of months of hard mode and completely went away after about 120 days or so.

I was functional within 65 days on my first run, 62 days on my second. That's no porn, masturbation, sex or orgasm.

I was able to have sex after 300 days (no pmo no sex) erection was maybe 90%, I had sex for 3 nights in a row but the 4th night I had ED again, guess to many ejaculations in a short time frame. After 2 weeks my erections started to become back again.
Just know when you are not fully recovered yet, you cant go ALL IN like I did :')

It's been over a year for me and I still can't get an erection. But nothing arouses me anymore, so there's that.

It took me a 90 day reboot and 1.5 months of rewiring to go from complete inability to have sex (fully limp penis when in bed with a really cute girl) to full erections, full sensation, and quick orgasm times, so about 145 days total. However, no one has the same recovery timeframe; as long as you are getting better, keep it going. Recovery may be tough, but it's better than being in the hole of addiction.

Note that I was also recovering from a 6 year addiction when I was 19. I was in very good physical shape at the time and did lots of running/leg workouts, which helps increase erection size and endurance. I haven't been tested but I would guess that I have more than average testosterone levels due to my body type, ability to put on muscle, body/facial hair, and family history; higher T levels help with regaining sexual function

At this point it might be time to talk to a doctor.

    I don't think so.
Jus because he hasn't had a sign of recovery doesn't mean he has some physical issue.

Even am in the same boat and I have even checked with a doctor. He couldn't find anything wrong.

So we need to accept the fact that there are cases like us which can go beyond 1 or 2 years.

  16. For all of you in this post, do you guys still get morning erections? I get nocturnal erections when I am in REM sleep but when I wake up that's not the case anymore. I used to get that when I was like 18 and in my early 20s but now at 33, I feel different.
