  1. If you are a student and doing nofap, get to 60 days you’ll begin crushing your studies. Since hitting around day 50 I’ve suddenly had energy and motivation to pick back up studying Japanese. My mind is clearer and I’ve been able to build consistency in my daily life. Negative porn imagery has faded away and only rarely appears in my mind (during my sleep). You can do it!

    I finished reading the book "your brain on porn" and I just really want to encourage everyone to not only read the book if possible, but to start doing research about the effect that porn has in your brain and what it is doing to society. Now I feel 100% sure that knowledge is power, and maybe this is what I lacked the last time I tried to reboot two years ago...

    Day 9.
    Doing good. Exercise a lot, trying to release the dopamines from other sources. After weight lifting your body release dopamine.

    DAY 2
    Thank you, i see that my mind is sharper and my memory is better after few days on nofap. I also deal better with stress. I'm happy to hear that you're becoming more motivated to study Japanese. The only Japanese i know are from Naruto xdd.

    Pornographic thoughts also come to me mostly during the night. Its pretty annoying when I don't think about it all day. I go to sleep, and immidiately some gay thoughts. Or when i wake up in the middle of the night - same things. It sometimes scares me to go to sleep, because I'm afriad that i will relapse.

    Nights are the toughest for me. It's hard to control yourself when you dont have energy. Relapsing during night makes me unable to fall asleep for the rest of it. Next 3 days i feel like shit because lack of sleep.

    I'm trying to wake up early and quit caffeine to have better sleep quality and not wake up at night. When urges comes I'm trying to withstand them, sit for a moment, meditate, drink some water and then try to fall asleep again.

    If you have any advices how you deal with urges during night I'll be glad to hear :)

    Yeah, and then you look for another work out to get the same feeling. And you're becoming more and more motivated to do sports or other stuff. It's important to quit this instant gratification trap.
     
  8. cold showers, especially in these hot months. Going to bed early and sticking to a bet time routine helps. Since I’m a busy person with kids, full time job And grad school the and I find that the moments before sleep is when I have free time to myself and I’m probe to browsing thoughtlessly as a way to unwind. Its call revenge bed time procrastination and you should learn about it. Using the phone mindlesssly at night can lead to staying up too late or wanting to peek.

    Yup, bro nights are the toughest. I remembered when I started first PMO, even now also. the urges used to come at night cuz during that time you're doing nothing. You know it's devils time, but there some tips to have great sleep without these thoughts. First of all don't try to control your thoughts, just whatever is coming try avoid that. If you avoid those thoughts for some times, they will automatically vanish.

    Day 1 in the books!! Today was really great I took a break from everything and enjoyed my real life very well. Also realised many things about my present situation, my goals, my dreams, and things what I was doing. Now I have some clearity of thoughts.
