I don't agree with the alpha-beta thing b/c human society is not equivalent to wolf society. I think it's a dangerous simplification, because people can be alpha and beta with different things. Like for instance, I'm "da alpha" with basketball most of the time, but with cars I've got to act "beta" because I don't know as much as others (though I'm learning).
