What motivates you?

I'd also like to know, I've got the very same exact problem like you

 

The only thing that motivates me is when I make small, attainable goals. I then have that which I want to accomplish and am motivated to work towards those goals. One example is my goal of forming the habit of no porn which takes a full month. I have 2 more weeks to go and am motivated by that goal to keep going and not search for or view any sexual stuff online!

What motivates me in life is the ability to create the life I want for myself and my family, to become the best version of myself, it's all thanks to God however, I can't take any credit.

If you want to be motivated, ask God to reveal to you what you are supposed to be doing. It's going to come with alot of growth and self improvement on your end, it's not a lazy relationship where you sit back and get everything handed to you.

God helps those who help themselves the best they can.

 

I think what's important to keep in mind is that its not always a lack of motivation, but rather that your motivation is in the wrong direction. I think it's fair to say most of us are/have been motivated to pmo at some point. That doesn't mean we actually wanted it but our brain was clearly pointed in that direction. When you chase pleasure to reduce suffering, that reduced suffering leads to motivation going elsewhere. Because if it doesn't bother you enough, you're not gonna change, your brain sees no reason to and it's not completely wrong either. As long as you're temporarily satisfied thats good enough to teach the mind "okay, so this is what we do when things start to bother us). It's like david goggins says, it needs to bother you. It's not about what you want, its about what your values are. If you reframe something and turn into a value, a virtue, then it becomes a bit easier to follow through with it despite the suffering, despite how you feel.

I do my best to ensure my hobbies and spirituality as well as what genuinely interests me a lot of times I end up having to make compromises on some of these things.

 

Being tired of my own shit.

 

That i can have a real impact on the world.
That i finally find a girl of my dreams.
That ill achieve more than others.
That i will defeat my deamons and become a fucking living god.
That i will find more girls to have relationships with.
That i will be better at what im doing

I failed in almost everything in life, if not all but here I am still getting up after 1000 tries but even if I go ,I dont want to let this world make me say "uncle".I die taking that son of a bitch with me.
