Does anybody else talk to them self?

    Does anybody else talk to them self in their mind or actually speaking?

    I sometimes talk to myself in my mind and speaking as if I am with someone, talking about something to them. But there is no one actually there.

    I don't actually believe anyone else is there. But I chat as if someone else is there sometimes, by talking and in my mind.

    I don't know how common this is?

    I do when stuff is on my mind. One thing I do that helps mediate that is journal.

    I talk to myself all the time both out loud and internally. When I start my day, I look in the mirror and say 3 positive things. Helps me to start the day off right. WHen I'm working from home alone i may also talk out loud. Sometimes it helps me to work through a work issue to just talk it out.

    I'll also talk internally to myself, but that is more likely when i am out in public.

    Only occasionally during a rep of heavy weights lifting and I do it out loud. I most sound crazy at the gym.

    But how many of us think the guy walking down the street talking to himself looks like a weirdo? But we actually do the exact same thing. Maybe not down the street, but we talk to ourselves just the same.
