I don't want to live that life again

Welcome to the site. Don't give up! You're young, you're still at the start of your life. Everyone screws something up. It's how we recover from our mistakes that defines us. There's loads of resources to help you - this site being one of them. I've just started here too.

I messed up my first year @ college too, but the distractions in my case were other than P/M/O (it wasn't taking quite the toll yet - internet was just in its infancy when I started). Luckily I was able to take a step back, take stock of my situation, cut out the distractions and buckle down and study. As for not being top in class, don't stress about it. I heard an analogy once that I've since taken to heart. You can spend thousands of dollars on your car making it as fast as possible but odds are... you're at best the second fastest car on the street. Once I realized that and only worried about bettering my score - doing the best I can do and the heck with where I rank with regards to the rest of the class, I did much better.

Seriously, don't give up.

First of all you need to forgive yourself. You're human and you're hardly the first person to let a porn addiction get the better of them. I understand how devastating it can be to lose out on opportunities but you need to focus on your future instead of dwelling in the past. You're only 19, there are still so many things you could do with your life that you can't even imagine. Once you beat this thing it's like the doors are going to be open for the first time in years.

You should be proud that you're wiling to admit you have a problem. There are tons of guys out there who deny it and let porn remain an important part of their life but you aren't one of them! You're one of us because you're willing to fight it and because you know your life is going to get better once you do. Things are only going to go upward from here on out, I promise you.

This site can absolutely be a life changer but you're only going to get out what you put in. I suggest you really immerse yourself in this community. Start a journal, read some success stories, get one of those green goal bars and do your best to support others. 7 days is a great first streak! I think I went from ages 14-19 without a streak longer than 4 days so you're already ahead of where I was.
