I don't get aroused by kissing!! :( So scared

    Hi guys,

    I have been suffering PIED for a couple of years now and I'm still trying to deal with my porn habits.

    My biggest problem is I just don't get turned on by kissing a girl. It just feels really weird. It's hotter to see a girl being kissed than actually me kissing a girl.

    I had a great streak of 120 days going on in March of this year. However, then the second wave of the pandemic badly hit here in India and I relapsed. Now I have been on nofap again for 31 days and I also started dating someone I like.

    But I still struggle to get hard by kissing. Is this normal in PIED? Is there any advice for me? I'm really scared. :(

    Aw man that sucks.
    I actually have the opposite problem I get aroused too easily by women the slightest touch, kiss, complement or even slap is enough to turn me on I have no idea why though.

    It’s quite normal in recovery. You have trained yourself to primarily use your sight to get you aroused (porn does that) so your hyper reliant on visuals.

    Totally normal. You always wanted what you saw in certain capacity. Some people get that touch and are like "Yes" . Others are like " Not hot enough" .

    Been there too. Used to get mad hard-ons from just kissing alone. Nowadays I can kiss for hours on end, but still. I think what can help is to avoid PM. Not an easy task.
