I don’t think you can stop triggers except the ones you can identify and avoid-ie for my husband he cannot lay in bed once awake. He cannot go on Twitter at all. What you can do is have a plan for unexpected triggers.

Over time you learn what your triggers are and try to avoid them, or have measures in place if you know you might encounter them to prevent relapse. As you heal from your addiction over time you may encounter triggers but have more power to prevent relapse. As this continues it 'unlearns' the trigger.

Thank you for your help!! Yes I usually am good at avoiding triggers, I was having a dream that I was talking to some women (not my wife) and just listening to her and then suddenly she kissed me and I woke up...started looking at pictures of my wife and going through process I do to avoid thinking about the situation anymore....just focused on wife and was able to go back to sleep...thank you for your help and support

Focus on life. Have goals and ambitions. Have other things in mind. Figure out why you started consuming porn and get that shit together.

The weeks i'm more focus in a competition or work are the ones I have less thoughts about fapping.
