I recently upgraded to iOS 15, and the iOS profile used to be able to block Reddit images but can’t anymore. Is there any way to block Reddit images?

    Cleanbrowsing free filters
You would still have to disable youtube restricted mode and re-enable reddit when using the family DNS.
    Norton Family DNS: 199.85.126.30
This is similar to cleanbrowsing but with no safe search.

OpenDNS Family Shield: Also good, but with no safe search

I can't test it right now on iOS 15. Have you tried re-installing the profile? Let me know if that doesn't fix the problem.

How do you enforce the extension on Chrome?
Looks like you're already using Forticlient. Have you tried the other filters like Cold Turkey and Pluckeye. You should be able to block Edge easily using these. Just enable pluckeye's level 2 and remove the Cold Turkey extension from Edge and block a block in Cold Turkey.
There is a way but I am a bit hesitated to share it as it can be harmful. I think a better way is to get rid of edge.

  5. I use registry policies to enforce extensions (Leechblock and WebFilter) and then lock registry with CTB. CTB has many loopholes but I have set it to certain extent that it is almost impossible to bypass.

Yeah. I use Forticlient and CTB along with Leechblock NG and Web Filter for Chrome (Spin Safe Extension). I tried Pluckeye yesterday but I think it is not for me. It blocks just websites and I can do that now also.

I use Chrome and Edge Browsers(I don't have any temptation to download other.) I use YouTube on Edge and do other Study-related work on Chrome. So I installed Web Filter for Chrome extension in chrome and it restricts youtube on chrome but it is not a problem.

Now, I am thinking of removing sites (mostly P*rn) from CTB (I don't want to be stuck with blockers my whole life. I am trying to narrow down their function as much as possible but I will keep forticlient) as I have FortiClient that will block them but I want to be sure by enforcing/force installing Web Filter for Chrome Spin Extension on Chrome and Edge. Chrome is OK as it has extension. Problem with using that Extension(only on edge) is that it restricts YouTube and I don't want that on edge but it is fine on Chrome. So, I downloaded .zip for extension and edited it and then loaded it unpacked using Developer Mode and it worked fine(it was blocking p*rn sites and wasn't restricting YouTube). But later after some time, when I came back, the extension was removed automatically.
Is there a way to make it permanent. I am not a developer or anything. I don't even know coding. Just message me if you have any way. I will explain more if you want.

TL;DR, Go on Chrome WebStore and Download Web Filter for Chrome extension. It restricts YouTube. How can i make it to not restrict YouTube?

    Thanks.

That has always been my issue with blockers: Once you remove them it's just a matter of time before the next relapse. First of all it's crazy how many things need to be blocked online to really be save. As an addict, you're gonna look for loopholes and so far I always found them.
Second, you're not learning to deal with your demon, you just put it in chains and call it done. Sure, having some time off from porn helps the brain to recover somewhat. At the cost of a seriously censored internet experience (eg. Youtube's content is cut in half or even less). One can say that's worth beating the addiction, but you're not really beating it. To actually be free of porn means to have the choice to watch it but not do it out of conviction.

  8. I always kept in my mind that this is not something I am going to do forever. I always try to bring down use of blockers wherever possible. However currently I am spending too much time on them. However, It is not like if you remove these then you are sure to relapse. If you give it time and gradually remove them then it is possible to get rid of them without worrying about relapse.
Put in Chains till you are ready. Important part here is not "Putting in chains" but "getting ready".
    True.

I know from personal experience I can't live anywhere near as clean without blockers. I could maybe be really determined and get a streak without blockers. But how long does that determination last? I don't always remain in that determined mindset. With a good blocking system you just can't get it, and that works much better for me than using my own willpower. Near impossible to get it, a big hassle to get it, that keeps me much more clean than willpower. This is the reality for me.

One of the many things I love about pluckeye, pluckeye is constantly advancing. Being made better in every way all the time, new versions being released constantly. Always being made better. The pluckeye you use at the moment isn't the final product. It constantly advances, being made better all the time.

That's very nice. I am very interested to know how you protect Cold Turkey.
We here use Anvi, Easy file locker and protect services using
    SC Failure servicename actions= restart/1/restart/1/restart/1/restart/1// reset= 0
    https://www.coretechnologies.com/products/ServiceSecurityEditor/
There are also apps that protect the registry from being modified:https://www.novirusthanks.org/browse-by/malware-protection-tools/
Is there anything else that you would like to add?

I wonder if you just deleted pluckeye because it deletes all images and videos once you install it. This is the default configuration and there is a whole thread about pluckeye here:https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/pluckeye.300403/
If you want to use Edge with pluckeye, I think there is a way to do it. I know many unofficial tricks for pluckeye, but I can't share it in public cuz they are normally not needed. So give pluckeye another try and import this:https://u.pluckeye.net/configurations/47631
This should block all pages containing names of P stars, P channels and studios and many other bad words automatically.

I have started using Leechblock a few days ago and made a configuration that blocks bad words, I am still adding and removing stuff. Would you like to share you leechblock configuration here? It could be helpful. Also, Leechblock greatly affects the browser's speed when many tabs are open even if you set it to filter only active tabs, that's why pluckeye is better.
No worries, you're a smart guy for doing all of that by yourself. The solution would be by modifying that extension and hosting it on the chrome store or somewhere else, then enforcing it using policies. Let me know if you need any help with that. Don't expect it to be done immediately though as right now I am very busy

Man, you're totally right. Blockers will not cure the addiction. I completely agree with you. But I would rather relapse once every 300 days than relapsing 15-20 times a month which is something I used to do years ago.
Could you please take a look at this article:

    what do you think?

Whatever gets you further ahead is legit for you, I'm not denying that. There's many ways to Rome.
Of course, our environment has a powerful impact on our psyche, which is why I stylized my apartment and keep it clean and orderly at all times. :) So if you want to remove negative influences like, take away your TV and replace it with a guitar or whatever that's fine, if that's how you want to live from now on. But I don't think anybody wants to live the rest of their lives with an internet full of blockers. It's temporary, that's the problem. It might give you a sense of achievement because you haven't watched porn in a while. But you really don't know if you're compulsion-free until you sit at your computer and the next pornsite is just 3 secs away.

By that I want to say, sex online is part of the environment whether it's twerking women in a Youtube music video, or Instagram girls, TV series, even news articles, sex is everywhere. So whether one uses blockers or not, one needs to be comfortable and compulsion-free in such an environment.

So to summarize: I think blockers are fine if you have no self-control whatsoever and need to start somewhere. Go ahead and use them. But they're no long-term solution. And they give you a false sense of how well you've treated your addiction. You only find out where you stand once you remove them.

Exactly, man. There is actually no known way to improve your willpower or self control. I stand now in the same place as I was 10 years ago with regards to self-control. I completely agree that blockers won't solve the problem from its roots but there is nothing that can fix it. I think I have relapsed like a thousand times and I've tried a lot of approaches, read books about willpower and self improvement and watched motivational videos with no use. Maybe it's just me :)

It's certainly not just you. But don't read those books, they don't help, except the author financially. xD You know, at the end of the day dude, if you can't quit it's because part of you doesn't want to. It's unfortunately that simple. There's no "demon", there's no addicted neurons that force you to do anything. You're probably just like me, every time you've relapsed it's either because you thought you could get away with it one more time or because you felt low and didn't care. But you were in control.

How can we let go of something so magical as porn? Only if you truly see how it affects you and your life negatively, only if you realize the full scope of the damage it's doing, then you can stop. It's really hard to see that tho. So easy to turn a blind eye on the effects or never become aware of them. Humans become easily addicted. But we're not stupid, if we have the options before us we'll always chose the best one for ourselves. There's a guy I know who drank like a liter of vodka every day for 30 years. One day he coughed up blood and went to the hospital. The doctor told him he was hours from dying. They saved his life and told him he would die if he drank another drop. He stopped from one day to the other.
