    Hi there

My nickname is Bready and I'm a musician and composer, based in London. I used to gig a lot and got used to lots of attention from women. When I stopped gigging to focus on music production and composition, I underestimated the impact this would have on me and developed insomnia, anxiety and depression. Rather than producing loads of great tracks instead I watched loads of great porn (as well as movies and other slightly more constructive distractions).

Eventually I got back to doing what I do best, but unfortunately I got injured in the process, an injury indirectly related to excessive fapping! This means I'm not working as a musician anymore and I'm spending time once again attempting to produce music and compose. This has lead to more PMO and I've kind of got stuck there ever since. I have managed to produce some compositions, but I think overall spending time PMOing is causing me to prolong the effects of my injury and therefore creating a vicious circle where I can't get back to playing again.

I'm married and as far as my wife knows I'm off PMO, but I think she knows that it's still going on, not least of all because I think my death grip has finally taken it's toll. What with my neck and back injury and my struggle to kick the PMO habit, I am no longer the awesome lover I once was. I regularly can't stay hard, I run out of steam pretty quick and I often can't respond to my wife's attempts to get me going again.

So basically I'm a sex addict. I don't feel comfortable standing up and saying my real name just yet, but I'm really pleased to have found this site and I look forward to connecting with other addicts who have been through and are going through the same or similar challenges. I know I have a lot to learn here, but I also know I have a lot to share.

Thank you to those of you have made this site possible. Such a great gift. Unfortunately I can't afford to contribute financially to the site as I'm unemployed without any injury benefits, but as soon as I can I will, as this site seems to be a much needed service in a time of great need.

Welcome! I'm glad you're here. Please keep coming back!

There's a lot of wisdom here that can help. Keep looking around and learning. And if anyone else can help, please ask!

    Hi Septimus

Thanks for your input. It has taken me a day or so to work through everything, but I've pretty much followed all the steps you recommended. Very helpful and I was pleased to note that I had already begun many of them.

Hope all is well with you.
