Good morning, I have a question about wet dreams, I want to know if they count as a relapse? It happens that a few days ago I started the nofap and it was going well, but last night I had a wet dream so I felt it like a relapse, and I felt that it did not matter if it touched me or not for that reason so I just did it. And the truth concerns me about this wet dreams, because it is not something I can control and I do not know if it has the same physical and psychological effects as PMO. Although it makes me feel the same as when I relapse. But hey was that, I wanted to know if it counts as a relapse and if it has the same physical and psychological effects, nothing else. Thanks a lot.

Wet dreams do not count as a relapse or reset during your reboot. They are actually a sign your body is starting to return to normal function.

Too many wet dreams and porn dreams?

Wet dreams are healthy male biological functioning. They are the opposite of relapse - they're indicative of health, and the brain gets properly rewired when cleansing itself in healthy biological involuntary manner and not by voluntary PMO abuse. Also, the brain is just cleansing out sexual images from the brain - the filth is coming up and out, not in and buried deep in the psyche.

The initial months you will have these wet dreams. And they will feel very much draining. To me they feel like a passive relapse.
But general consensus is the opp.

But as months progress and you cleanse your brain of all sexual thoughts and porn memories. It will stop. And even if you happen to get one it won't be draining like the initial months. BUT I would advice to avoid it.
And it only happens when you have too many sexual thoughts. Or view pics of women throughout, that particular day... You get the idea. So steer clear of it.
    I have tested all this.

  5. I just had a wet dream. I don't think they count as a relapse at all

No. They happen when you are unconscious, so the sexy dream and the release of semen is unintentional.

You may feel a bit more horny for 24-48 hours, but otherwise there is nothing to be concerned about.
