I've started therapy with a jungian analyst. Basically a branch of psychology which is based on the work Carl G. Jung, a famous swiss psychologist who invented the terms intro- and extrovert, archetypes, collective unconscious among other things.

I've told my therapist about my porn addiction and how I grew up without a father and my jealousy issues. He concluded that because of my upbringing I'm too much on the feminine side and have an underdeveloped masculine side. I was never the submissive type in relationships, but when it comes to porn and fantasy I did dive into femdom, sissy hypnosis, porn addict hypnosis etc. When I fantasized while masturbating my go to scenario was being with a girlfriend and then being seduced into cheating by a super-hot girl. I told him all that.

He said that's a role reversal. Archetypically speaking the man is supposed to be the active, the seducer. And the woman the passive, the one that's being seduced. So he showed me how watching porn stifles my growth as a man, because each time I PMO I'm the one being seduced and take on a passive, receiving role. Which then makes me more insecure and feeds my jealousy. Now I'm usually a confident guy, but picture a plant in a garden which represents insecurity and isn't supposed to be there, I want to get rid of it, but instead every time I PMO I water that plant.

I'm 29 now and it's a real mindfuck to find out that there's so much bad programming in my mind that I need to clean out, one by one.. And how all these things are connected, influencing each other. Because that's not how I wanted to see them. My ego saw watching porn as something separate I can get away with sometimes, while still becoming the man I want to be. Unfortunately that's not the case, it's more like driving a car with the handbreak on.

You don't seem to understand much about Jung. For one he never used any of his concepts as a fixed truth statements. He clearly disclaimed them as theoretical approximations (just like every other theory in every other field). Which is very unlike a cult. He healed ton's of people.
Also be careful with throwing around the word "brainwash". You can't use it for any thought which is in peoples head that you disagree with. Actual brainwashing is used by totalitarian regimes, like North Korea, where you put people into a cell and break them down mentally and physically and only feed them the same information for a long period of time. That's hardly the case with Jung. If people believe what he's saying, it's because what he's saying is convincing.
