The law is not solid, it’s film layer with many holes. It’s interpreted by man strata of people. From the common citizen to law enforcement to the lawyer. It is not standard.

This is a poor analysis and I think this debate about satire is a waste of mental energy.

Satire is apart of my character. It always has been. I have an off and on switch. I’m not changing that, because it’s not correlated with any issue.

AtomicTango is a strong soul, but has been dealing with health-related issues that I wish not to discuss further for sake of his privacy. I do not believe his behavior on here made him consistently relapse, but more so the stress from his condition. The posting was more of a getaway from real life problems. I believe balance like in yin yang can be achieved by minimizing efforts online and more on real life.

Without @AtomicTango, the quality of the posts will be decreased, as we miss those long posts with elegant writing.

He's probably banned for criticising the website policies, but he would criticise because he really liked this website. He contributed much to this good community and liked it like his home. Everyone liked him.

I have nothing against admins. I know they do an unpaid job and spend so much time on moderating the site. I ask admins to unban him.

He meant no harm as far as I can tell. Compassionate criticism with good intentions shouldn't be punished.

We’ll never know because they refuse to tell us. This whole we don’t ban ppl on a whim but we’re not going to tell you why, is so blatantly problematic.

In the case of Gordie who I am also fortunate to be able to talk off site. Literally has no clue why he was banned just rule “rule violations” and he has never been warned by the moderation team for any of his conduct. His posts were always high quality and thought provoking, he never engaged in trolling.

I know why they do this. So people can’t appeal a ban. Just get rid of them for whatever, is the enforcement model. It seems.

I also understand that this forum needs to be clean and I have no problem with that.

I'm 101% positive that my messed up "progress" has absolutely nothing to do with my satirical sense of humour, that said, yeah, being fucking busy lately, not much time to be wasted around cracking myself up commenting whatever.

Satire always lift up my mood, I tackle tragedy with satire in life, and I fucking love it.
The only thing I can agree on is that being overly satirical has it's time and place, and even when this may be a point of disagreement, there is the time for a serious hoping to help comment, and a satirical one, the latter probably won't help much, that's why you will very rarely find me being overly satirical out of off topic, because when I comment outside of it, is to be serious and either help o express myself, even when I'm an unleashed trollish satire ridden nutcase on off topic.

But what do I know mate. This is not the thread to discuss something already discussed anyway.

Fantasy is huge business but the lines between what's real and what's not are bent to the extreme in porn I wouldn't doubt it is responsible for a skyrocket in marriage rape

 

I took a look at the rules' page. It mentioned about the warnings. I just need to know more about the process, so:

It appears that the banned users are not informed about the cause of the ban. Also they are banned without being warned enough or at all. If that's the case about the recent bans, I don't understand the rationale behind such policies.

I thought if I do something wrong I would receive some warnings (e.g. yellow/red cards or warning points) with the details of the infraction.

To let the uninformed user do the repeated violations without warning them, can do more harm than good. I'm just saying I'd prefer to be banned today, if I'm to be banned a few weeks later anyway.
