    I guess I'm alone again in my challenge. It's a hard challenge I know. But worth it. Simple yet effective.

    4am challenge it is!

    if you want you can keep it in the 4:30am range but not more than 5:00am

    these are the rules
    Rules:
    1.Wake up at 4am or before 4am: in your case lets put it at 5:00am
    2.You can wake up after 4am once a week and if that week you didn’t use the exception then it is accumulative, you can use it later they add up
    3. If you sleep 5hrs or less, you can keep the streak regardless the time you wake up
    4. If you consider you deserve to keep the streak because you had to work late, were sick or anything you truly consider it was the best to sleep after 4 you can keep the streak

    so seeing the difficulty of the challenge I am going to give another rule if you think it is too hard 4am you can put the timer at 5am

    So I went to bed at 12 midnight, or just after.

    I had a rush of tiredness at 7:30/8pm but I had another task to do for work which took me to midnight by the time I got home.

    I even wasn't exactly tired (maybe wound up) so I took some melatonin and went to sleep.

    I woke up at 4:30 (with my alarm) but was 50/50 about getting up (i naturally could have) but I elected to stay in bed and I eneded up getting up at 8:30

    Going to stay at it, and must avoid snoozing.

    Maybe if I meal prep

    I can finish evening routine

    by 730 and make 5am

    it started with rehab 8 years ago, maybe this is part of one very long

    wake up call

    3am (no alarm) today

    I have also found that fasting completely destroys urges for me aswell

    In bed by 8:30pm

    Got to sleep around 7:30 which is very early, then i woke up early like 11:30pm - tried to get back to sleep, couldn't but forced myself, then started getting sleep again around 2:30, then alarm at 3:30 i was tired! I went back to sleep, and got up at 7:30 ugh. Damn.

    From now on, if I wake up at 1am or 2am (or I have had sleep and cannot get back to sleep after midnite) I will just get up and get going with my day.

    When this happen to me, quite often these days actually, I just meditate until I fall asleep again. Then after some days I stops happening or only one time at night.

    I also thought about you are planning to do. But I could end up tired to do my early morning training.

    You need a lot of introspection to really be certain you don't need more sleep.

    When I meditate and my body just feels right I don't go back to sleep even if I woke up very early

    Woke up at 1:00 am then back to sleep at 3:30am and woke up at 4:30am.

    I'm going to use a joker card to continue the streak.

    So I have 6x joker cards left.

    I also went back to sleep because I had a heavy training at 6am. I was a bit tired so I didn't want to risk it, for little sleep.

    It was a good call, because the training was a bit more difficult than what it usually is. Probably I trained too hard yesterday and it was suppose to be a rest day and I did two trainings instead of resting.

    Sometimes I just can't stay still. I need to work on that.
