Webcam models and onlyfans

Hello everyone,

I have been on this journey for sometime now, but I have made the most progress in the month of September. My highest streak was 15 days, after that I binged and spent a ridiculous amount of money on webcam models and onlyfans pages. The binge lasted the weekend after the streak, then I went again for 7 days, and that ended yesterday. (Did not spend money on webcams or onlyfans).

I am not fully cured, but I have made a lot of progress.

What I want to talk about in this post is my temptation and urge to spend money on webcam models. Regular porn does not do it for me anymore, so I thought I would try something else.

Keep in mind that I have not spent money on webcams for more than a week now since everything is blocked on all my devices. I won't lie, if it wasn't blocked, then yesterday's twitter P binge would have turned into something else. In all honesty, I have been thinking about escorts or strippers as an option lately too, which is a road I do not want to go down.

I am confident that I can eradicate this habit. I have proved that I can go sometime without it. My goal now is to refrain from PM for 30 days.

This post is mainly just to relate to anyone, I go to therapy now so I am being supplied with the mental tools to refrain from this kind of behavior. Would love to hear what anyone's experience or opinion on this behavior is though. Feel free to jump into the conversation.

EDIT: Also, my streak is not 26 days. I reset it not sure why it is showing that.

I'm really glad to hear that you're going to therapy. That will really help you get over this. I found a really good tactic to get the most out of therapy, is to write down thoughts you have that you'd like to talk to your therapist about. It's often far harder to talk about our issues once we're in their office and we'll come up with any excuse we can to avoid bringing it up like, "oh it's really not that bad, I don't have to talk about it today."

Sure enough, as soon as we leave, we can't help but realize how foolish we were for not talking about it.

If you write it down on a piece of paper, or even keep a note about it in your phone, and then give it to them at the beginning of the session, you'll make tons of progress. It's far, far easier to give them a piece of paper then to expect yourself to open up in the moment. The faster you can open up, the faster you're going to get passed.

Thank you friend! I definitely have thought about writing down what I want to talk about with my therapist, but never do because I tell myself that I will remember it or will get over it with time. Like you said, that is never the case.

Therapy has been one of my better decisions this year. I am going to keep going for sure.

my opinion:

Its completely pointless to spend money on webcam and OnlyFans models. Its a waste of money. Better to just masturbate to free online porn if you are going to relapse. Why not spend that money on a good meal instead? Or if you are going to spend the money anyways, why not just go give it to a homeless person on the street? Buy them a meal. Or just give them the cash. Don't just throw away money like that... thats my opinion at least

I've done it a couple times - I get like $20 worth of $5 bills and go hand them to 4 homeless people. Its actually a pretty good feeling. Maybe try that with your extra money next time instead of using the money to masturbate when there is free porn on the internet anyways

I totally undertand you, i have left porn and havent watched a porn video since i discovered webcaming, the experience in webcaming is just another level, and as tech advances it will inevitably advance as well, just like a time back there where paid porn videos now there is free porn videos everywhere and now webcaming used to be known for having to have to pay to even start chat with a model but things are some what changing since there are sites now that one can now chat and comunicate with the model for free and yes there could be other features one needs to pay for but the free social interaction by chating is a big thing and basically the main things to get things done, in the near future webcam sex will be very realistic and all virtual plus you can virtually have all the sex you want and never risk stds since its virtual and there are currently 1000s of models online ready and waiting 24/7 to do webcaming, in the near future id say just few years from now as internet gets to more places and speeds improve the webcaming will so too, porn will be like looking at a magazine back then.
