    Greetings,
So cut to the chase Because of PMO I feel weak, depressed and you know all the side effect that pmo has. I can't go to work where I have to meet people, interact and when I'm struggling with this addiction I just wanna be alone and not work.

As such in my previous job I lost a chance of promotion and here in my new job I already took 3 days off in just 1 month. I'm worried about my reputation, mangers would think negatively of me but they dont know what in going through. This addiction is making me struggle a lot. Please help.

Ps- i have all the side effects that PMO has to offer but still can't stop. I even fap without P or any urges.

  2. No one can make your decisions for you. Only God can give you strength--surely none of us can. But you have more ability to choose your own course than you might give yourself credit for. It will take power of decision to cut your bad habit loose. But you can do it. If you have not already seen the tips linked in my signature, I would recommend you start with those.

Don't try only to stop your PMO habit. You must replace it with something superior. If you have nothing to focus on in its place, you will have a tough time of quitting indeed.

    Hey, man!

Do you have problems with getting up early for work. Or with day to day activities such as washing clothes, doing dishes or even brushing your teeth? If so this might be a depression. It can be treated. If you feel like it, talk to a doctor about it.
It can be caused or made worse by your pmo. Try to remember why you are doing this.

Don't worry too much about your reputation. Normally we think it's worse than it really is.

Heads up. It will get better!

Thanks bro. Yes I have problem with both getting up early and all mentioned below. I am stuck in a relapse cycle bro for years. Max I can go is 3 days tops. As such everything's getting destroyed, my health, wealth, reputation at work and my goals will never be reached it seems. Why can't I even make 30 days without pmo. It's been years, heard all the advice. Don't know what can help me now

    Hey,

Fapping once in 3 days is a big improvement for someone who used to fap 5-6 times daily.
I know theres times when it doesn't seem like it but as long as you keep going, you're making progress.
I never got to the 30 days mark as well. So what, that is just a number. Try to lengthen your streaks bit by bit. And when you feel like you accomplished something, treat yourself with something good. A nice steak, a massage, something you can look forward to.

When depression takes over try to take some slow deep breathes.

You are not alone with this! We can do it! :)

After analyzing what you said i can deduce that I'm in a depression after all. But I won't seek a psychiatrist, what will I say to him/her that I'm a pmo addict. No way, which means I gotta heal depression on my own. I guess, positive thinking, good diet, exercise and meditation will end this depression and numbness. Correct me if I'm wrong

The step to seek out medical help can be very intimidating. But those people deal with every kind of addict, everyday. There's a good chance they treated something like this before. Although, I have to admit, that finding a therapist that resonates with you, might be a bit of trial and error.

I understand if you don't want to do this and maybe you don't need to.
What you can do is track your progress with a journal. It might reveal something that is missing in your life.

(Mind, that I'm not a psychiatrist and cannot diagnose you.)

  9. As I have had considerable experience with depression, I've posted a little about dealing with it for someone who had severe fatigue/depression symptoms. Check the following links.

And more specific depression-related tips here:

I would highly recommend that you look at those two posts and then see how much of that you can implement in your own lifestyle. I challenge you to give it a try for at least three weeks and then let us know the results.

    Rooting for you!
