From what I understand PMO can really fuck up your breathing.Has to do with holding your breath or something like that when trying to ejaculate.

Thanks for the reply. The work schedule helps as it will give me an idea what to expect. I'm very blessed to be in a situation where I can choose my hours. In the short period that I have stopped, my nervousness has decreased and my hands have almost stopped shaking. It feels amazing.

For me, it's stress and cravings. When they come knocking after a week or two it's absolutely atrocious and they happen in sequence. I stress about something, then have a craving for PMO. Thirty years addiction will do that. Each cycle gets more intense and I've not been able to break past one month, yet.

If you haven't seen it already Look up Andrew Hubermans podcast about dopamine on YouTube . It's long winded but very informative. There is a part in the end that he discusses enjoying the process and how setting goals for people with high jacked dopamine systems can actually be detrimental.

Keeping your hands clasped together helps.

Had a great day so far. Stress still remains my weakness. Never had breathing issues. Interesting enough antihestamine tablets helps with panic attacks and breathing issues.

While we on this, I believe higher protein less carbs, processed food etc will help. And stay away from sugar. Now dont get me wrong, I do cheat sometimes because you already on minus 10 dopamine so awesome food will reward you and increase dopamine.

I believe fish type diet is also good, BUT one time fish made my throw up, the same with chicken. I do have another addiction now MONSTER ENERGY. Dont know how to quite that

If you have cravings then I suppose you are not flatlining. I can tell you flatlining would give you no cravings at all. Maybe a rare moment of cravings, but mostly nothing. What day are you in.

Try antihestimine tablets. I had underlying breathing issues and let me know if it works.

I recently cut tons of sugar out of my diet so I'm sure that is wrecking some havoc on my reward system as well. I've heard on more than one occasion of people recovering from addiction becoming addicted to Monsters. Must be something in the ingredients. Perhaps the caffeine

Relapse can set you back. You can do two things now. Continue with PMO untill you hit rock bottom, cause trust me you will hit rock bottom. Or you can pull yourself together and accept relapse is not the end of the world and you can just abstain again. Figure out what made you relapse. And just pull through. Dont give up if you make one error.

I’ve noticed in my journey that pornography is only the symptom of an underlying problem. For me, that underlying problem was loneliness, not loving myself, and resenting my past. I had a very emotional withdrawal period, and had to meet with a lot of community to try and figure out how to proceed forward.

This sounds a lot like me. Every morning when i wake up I have severe anxiety. I've only woke up one day and didn't have it. Lots of brain fog but no headaches. Man this is rough!

Mine was similar. I still feel very lonely even if I’m not because I don’t allow myself to connect.

Yesterday morning was rough with lots of nausea and anxiety most of it subsided by the end of the day. Today was one of the better days I've had in a while. I have some underlying health stuff that has been flaring up but other than that it was a great day! Got a little more sleep last night.. by the end of the day my anxiety was starting to creep up on me. Breathing is still a little shallow but getting better. Have some urges but nothing I can't control so far. Had sex with my wife last night after abstaining for almost two weeks and the orgasm was pretty intense. Also no signs of any ED. I don't know exactly how many days in I am. Honestly I don't really care. The important part is that I'm moving forward and enjoying the changes so far. My confidence has increased and my nerves has decreased. It's a great feeling knowing I'm trying to do the right thing by my beautiful wife and son.

Have anybody get rid of blushing after NOFap?
I don't know if is connected or not but I had suffered from blushing in tight situations (at work) for decades.
After a few months of nofap I don't have anymore, even after some pmo. It is more than 2 years since I don't have any blushing anymore.
My PAWS are : stress (I can feel it in my chest), depression, iritability, nocturnal panic attacks, lack of motivation. There are good days and bad days.
