    Day 15 feeling low energy and libido this week so perhaps a flatline.

    Last week (week 1) had much more energy and confidence. This week feeling a bit 'empty' in general but hoping to push through this!

    Hey, I made this account a while ago and just dropped it. So I'm basically new to all of this. any and all advice would be apricated.

    I forget exactly when I started, but it must have been when I was around 14 or 16. I just turned 23 recently so around 7-9 years. It's been a constant struggle and an endless nightmare ever since. this last year has probably been the worse its been, with me pmo'ing practically daily. I'm truly addicted and need to end this. I've tried and failed in the past, but I'm beginning to realize that if I truly want this, I need to fight with every fiber of my being. So I'm back to NoFap, and on this wonderful forum to try to get things right. So I guess all this to say,

    Day 0- I reset my counter for lusting. I didn’t pmo, but I don’t want to imagine having sex as that is basically porn. I will reset my counter every time “fantasy” and “sex” come together in my mind. Either have sex in real life or don’t think about it.

    Hey guys. I'm new to nofap. Currently on day 8. Hoping to join a community of like minded individuals looking to improve their standard of living and healthy habits. Going to post updates every few weeks as a journal log and hopefully follow others in their journey too. Not looking for perfection, just progress :)

    Would love to get to 71 days. Seems like a lifetime away right now. But hopefully I get there and actual sex becomes better and more reoccurring. Currently it's all hands and zero sex. Not quite the healthiest but that's what I'm trying to improve.

    I really want to make it. I feel terrible.
    My first streak was 18 days, then 37, and the last one was 17.
    I want to quit for good. I really do. Please help me succeed.

    Hey man its great to see you here! I wish you a good journey and hope you share it with us here as you go. Cause we're all practically in the same boat. Your message shows you have figured out what's wrong in your life, and I believe in you that you will very soon become the person that was held back by this addiction for already way too long!

    Practical advice? If I had to give one, it would be to connect to people and be around people and friends as much as possible.
    Meditation is also useful. As a beginner just set a timer and intensely FOCUS on your breath for 10 minutes a day (that strengthens your prefrontal cortex and basically trains you to control your monkey brain better)

    I love this advice. I find box breathing meditations great from YouTube. Ten mins of breathing to calm things right down and let the urge pass.
