    Checking in Saiyans!

Day 354 days free of Porn and 282 days free of MO.

I've been doing well, regular day to day to chores, workout and meditation.

I would like to also share part of a post that may assist along your journeys. The topic is applied to addiction as a whole. Full post is here : https://www.mediavsreality.com/mediavsreality2/2021/9/1/how-to-avoid-a-relapse-as-a-porn-addict

"Rationalisation is the most insidious trick that addiction pulls on addicts. You create a story in your mind and you justify the behaviour. On some level you know the story you’ve told yourself is bullshit, but on another level you want to believe this story.

Rationalisation occurs with all addictive supernormal stimuli: Pornography, video games and eating sugary foods. Each of these modern addictive products have one thing in common: they all mimic our evolutionary desires. Because your brain believes engaging in these habits is evolutionarily beneficial, it will create a story that encourages you to do so.

The rationalisation will carry with it a logic that seems to make sense: It’s ok to eat Mcdonalds twice a week. Lots of people do it, it’s normal. I’ll burn off the calories later at the gym. Cooking is time-consuming and I’m a busy person. These rationalisations appear to be logical, but in reality these are stories your brain creates because it wants the sugar and fat inside the burger.

Porn addicts have their own set of stories that lead to a relapse: Watching porn is a normal thing to do. I’m just going to browse and not masturbate. I’m exploring my sexuality by watching lots of different genres. I’m single right now, so what am I supposed to do. I’ll watch one more time, then stop for good.

Learn to watch for rationalisations. Once the pattern of rationalisation beings, you can hit the off switch and break the cycle. Say “NOPE” out loud to yourself, or immediately leave your room and go outside (pulling up your trousers first if necessary)."

    Stay strong!

Hey man, Id say the main thing I'm still dealing with is fantasizing. I'm training my mind to block any such thoughts when they come up, but they have been the culprit for any past nofap failures. If you have any tips on semen retention in general that'd be very appreciated

Day 9. Yesterday was tough, almost fell off the wagon, but found inner strength and made it through. One thing that has always helped is staying busy and training really hard. Semen retention is what will heal the damage and help us become our perfect selves, though out nofap you have to remember that!!!

It feels really surreal but I relapsed after 5 months, but damn did I learn a lot. Too much Instagram and low awarness. It is kinda a wake up call for a bigger change. I hope everyone here is doing well. Stay strong guys.

    day 27:
    - woke up at like 5:30 this morning with a spike of energy
    - tmr is officially four weeks and on one of the days where I might get a spike in testosterone, although today seems like that with waking up early and having a lot of motivation(a little more than usual for some reason)
-feeling quite happy and content with how life is. Not as depressed as to how I used to be.
-refer to my reboot journal for more brief notes
-keep putting in the hard yards lads. Light is at the end of the tunnel.

  11. Hey, That's been a big struggle for me too. But I found that wearing boxer briefs to sleep helps (they recommend red one's for some reason). I got a three pack of red bb's from walmart for 11$.

Also hold a bridge pose for 1min a coupe times a week. And then when you're having urges just gently engage your glutes and pelvic floor. You can also draw in your navel to spine and throat. But Just squeezing your butt it generally enough to reduce an erection and put a pause in it.

Also if the struggle is real kick your covers off. Being in the colder air will definitely help stop fantasizing till you can settle down and get back to sleep.

    Hope this helps
