Hey folks, I’m new here on this forum. Nice to meet you all! I have been off and on the Reddit forums for years but have had little success, as of recently, keeping away from pornography.

Basically I’m looking for some inspiring people to help me finally break free of this PMO addiction. I’m really hoping you people here will be helpful in my fight against porn!

My porn addiction has been going on for 10+ years and I’ve been battling nofap off and on for 7 years. Honestly it’s pretty embarrassing that i haven’t broken free. In the last few years my addiction has been so much deeper, spiralling into trans porn and sissy porn. I really want to change my life!

I hope someone out their hears my call for help and can guide me, it would be very helpful. If you’re reading this, thanks for listening! I hope you have a good day and stay porn free!

I wish you the best of luck in your efforts! I know I've definitely been at this rebooting process longer than I'd like to think about, but there's no reason to be embarrassed about it here. Myself and many others have been in similar situations, and I'm still in the middle of getting myself back together. There are so many resources here that you can use to learn from, some good and some bad. It's sometimes hard to differentiate between the two, but like any internet forum or page, you've just got to check your sources and figure out what you can trust.

Something that has helped me and many others is to create a reboot journal in the 'Reboot Logs' section of the forum. Use your log to record your journey, and share as much or as little as you want. A lot of people create their own at some point, I update mine daily.

In the end, it doesn't matter how long you've been trying to break free. What matters is that you aren't afraid to ask around the community for guidance and any tips or tricks that members may have. There are a lot of helpful people here, and the other parts of this forum talk about a lot of interesting topics. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to reach out through the conversation feature on this website!

    Stay strong!

You are not alone. I started P at 11, PMO at 15. I had a 25 year PMO habit. These are things that have helped me are,

    1. I made a firm decision to quit
    2. I joined this forum
    3. I wrote out on a piece of paper what I want in my life and exactly how I want to live. I read these statements daily.
    4. I come on this forum often (about 2 times a day) and I read and post to others
    5. I joined one of the groups in the "accountability partners" section.
6 I joined in one of the challenges under the "Events and Challenges" section.
7 I have specific members who inspire me that I follow their journals on a daily basis

Welcome! I second the idea of using a reboot log. I have found this helpful so far in my journey.
