Hi, I am currently 9 days without PMO and I have a question about what can be considered a substitute for pornography, as sometimes I see women my age posting pictures in swimsuits and I wonder if that counts as a substitute for porn, if someone could answer me I would appreciate it very much, be well family

I really hate to tell you this but your addict is trying to convince to look at p-subs (porn substitutes). Don't do it, because you still will not be satisfied. Do you know how to be satisfied.. learning INTIMACY. When you learn to not sexually objective women, your mindset will really help guide you to freedom. A real man doesn't need multiple women to be happy

This sounds like negotiating with your addiction really, keep in mind a lot of this addiction is really just the lust for material not even necessarily the actual pleasure. People like to mention dopamine on here a lot but seem to leave out that dopamine is about pursuit and wanting, not the actual pleasure itself. It sounds like you still want any semblance of porn in your life which is a normal desire considering you haven't pmo'd for a while, but feeding into it will only lengthen the process.

What stimuli must I avoid during my reboot (did I relapse)?

I think you know the answer already

  6. Me personally, I would not define pictures of girls in swimsuits as porn. I'm into fitness and follow several people on social media and see them posting sexy pictures all the time. I can appreciate their attractiveness and move on. I am careful with social media to not follow any porn stars or other things I would classify as porn.

I think everyone needs to define their own definition of porn. Some of it is obvious while some of it may be specific to the individual. I classify porn as anything sexual that is meant to be masterbated to or highly sexual with no specific reason for it. For example I classify the following as porn, with some of it specific to me because of issues I've had dealing with this porn addiction:
    1. porn websites
    2. cam websites
    3. escort websites
    4. free chat websites where sex is the only thing talked about.
    5. strip clubs

Things I do not classify as porn because they do not trigger me, but others might need to classify as porn depending on their addiction:
    1. Sex scenes in main stream movies
    2. Sexy images like girls in bikinis or lingerie
    3. youtube videos

I'd say anything counts as porn if you're actively seeking it for sexual pleasure. It's not a relapse if you bump into a local hottie's sexy pic on social media while scrolling, but it's a different story when you're actually searching for it.

I think any man looking at anything other than a woman's face during rebooting is detrimental to healing. We are like a computer, we cache memory. So we are trying to reprogram Do you want your new software to have bugs in it, so it can lead you back down the black hole of hell?

It’s just too hot. Too sexual in my head. I need my own strong mind to make sure no one is in my head.
