Are the fetish porn actresses really into the fetish, or are they just playing and doing it for $$$?

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Deleted Account, Nov 24, 2021.

  1. For example things like feet, nylon, femdom, and even sissy (though these are actors then, no actresses): How likely is it that the actors are also into that fetish?

I've read several opinions that most of them are just playing and doing it for money. If that's true, then... Why the fuck am I watching it, if she's not enjoying it (behind the camera)?

Would appreciate if you'd shed some light on the fetish porn industry

Important: I'm talking about "POV, JOI, CEI" porn so that kind of porn where there isn't a male actor (or if, then it's only his dick)

And would it make any difference if they liked it? Would it make your life suffer less from that?

Some of these people probably think they like it. But it does not change the fact that this is sort of prostitution, and they are hurting themselves - even if not fully aware of it.

Plus they are hurting your mind, and some people provide you with it, to get money.

  3. Yes, it would. Idk why, but yes, it is important for me that the actress in that video enjoys the fetish. That's what I naively always assumed subconsciously.

I mean, if I'd have a gf, and I'd like to try some kinks out, and she'd be okay with that but not enjoying it, I wouldn't enjoy it, too.

An actress can be both into a fetish but also detached from the porn itself. If that makes sense?

When she's with someone in real life, in her real life, she might be into some of it (although I would guess most are not).

But in porn she would put on the persona because it's easier to make money compared to other genres of porn. Purely economics...

But for me your 2nd comment is where it gets interesting "if I'd have a gf, and I'd like to try some kinks out".

That's exactly the point of this sexual recovery.

In very general terms, your recovery might be on 2 fronts.

Let go of the porn, and you'll most likely let go of the stranger fetishes that originate there like CEI and Sissy and whatever else is going on these days.

And secondly, reboot your brain by connecting with real women, and enjoying whatever you're both into in a healthy and way more FUN way.

End game: who cares what's going on with porn... your future is better with a period of rebooting followed by real world trial and error with everyday women. Good luck!

  5. I mean, but what if I don't want to be in a relationship? Because I really don't feel the need for a relationship and I feel fine being single, and that's how I want it to be. I don't want to be in a relationship just for free sex

May I ask why do you want to remain single? And are you sure this is the thing you want?

And how old are you? Are you a heterosexual, or bisexual?
Before getting into porn - were you into "Sissy" stuff? Or did this fetish come later?

Why would you need sex if not in order to establish a relationship with a lady,
and enjoy time together, and pleasures together, while building stronger bonds as two human beings?

I mean - what would you be gaining from it? A short-term release of tension? A short-term pleasure?
Or you would feel your confidence getting boosted by having various girls, with no obligations towards them?
And what would she be gaining from it? Short-term pleasure? Release of tension? Fun?

Agreed. Better to not get your energy wasted on how the “performer” feels whilst trying to quit. I did this in someway, regarding the whole P industry. I learnt so much and couldn’t sleep over many issues that plagued the industry. This led me to have setbacks/relapses overall because I wasting my energy thinking of the societal negatives tooo much and got totally wound up about it (this effected my OCD exponentially).

A combination of shame, despair and anger was also thrown into the mix. I soon realised this wasn’t crucial to help me overcome PMO but knowing the true facts is okay to some degree, maybe as a basic standpoint. I think the facts should only be a cause for action or concern once you’ve beaten PMO use tbh. Sites like “Fight the New Drug” taught me a lot and put me in this weird, uncomfortable headspace for many months (even years now tbh).

I soon realised it’s best to fight with a positive mind set overall to truely beat this battle. Thinking of the industry and people involved will only set you back, impact your self esteem and self confidence.

    Yeah it's sometimes just academic.

You can have the most ethical porn use there is, pay the actress directly and whatever. You'd still have the equation of wasting your time and energy into fake intimacy.

Porn is like a stress reliever for a lifestyle that needs improvement. Consequently, improving the lifestyle means it becomes less useful to us.

Then you can do the exact same thing, and just politely let a girl know early on.

Some time on the first date you can chat about both your expectations. There's plenty of women out there who aren't looking to settle down.

In fact, one modern trend is young women putting off relationships throughout their 20s and even 30s. So, if you're not looking for a relationship, I would just be open about it from the start.

In almost all those vidoes, I'd bet a whole lot that they're only in it for a paycheck. But either way, I gotta say that unfortunately, if someone is seriously trying to quit PMO completely, it doesn't matter one way or the other, whether the actors or actresses in any porn videos are truly into that stuff. We should never be having anything to o with them, whether that means we're watching them, thinking about them, or thinking about the thoughts of actresses in them.

To be honest there is no female that would like to put her self nude on the internet even with all the fake emotions and smiles you can see in their eyes that they are empty and lifeless, sad and depressed. With no future perspective.

I don't really blame you for wondering whether or not the actress is really into it, its probably crossed the heads of a lot of people at one point while using porn but I'm not sure how many are willing to admit it. At the end of the day, they(in most cases) signed up for it so I'm sure to a certain extent they can detach, or just do it for the money, or whatever their motivator is. It certainly doesn't seem like they're strongly against it anyways, but who knows. In terms of the industry, there's a lot of issues with it for sure and I think being aware of that may actually motivate you to drop porn as well, as long as thinking about the industry doesn't consume you. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend to watch it whether or not they're enjoying it, so don't let that be a justification to continue watching.

I can't really tell you what matters to you, no one can, I just wouldn't want this to be a slippery slope back to porn. Its a normal thought to wonder if the people you've been getting off to for so long are actually into it, but like anything else in life, we gotta be focused and worried about ourselves if we're actually going to get anything done, so I don't think there's much to gain in contemplating whats going through the actresses heads.

    Don't know, don't care.
Specialising in a certain niche can be very lucrative, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was all an act.
What they enjoy for sure is the money that losers - and I say this with sympathy, not contempt - waste on them, hoping to fill a void in one of the worst possible manners.

  14. Some probably are into the fetish lifestyle itself, but I suspect more often they just get off on the attention, power, and money. So much of porn is lies.

Just for the money. Trust me. I knew that but when I truly felt that truth I walked away for good. You are just dollar signs to them. And when you walk away they don’t care either because you’re easily replaced. So don’t think about them. Reclaim your life.
