The truth about Porn and why you must quit forever

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Deleted Account, Dec 10, 2021.

  1. Most porn is geared towards heterosexual males, not because they are worse than woman or homosexuals, but because the way they are designed, males are generally more excited through the sight sense and heterosexuality constitutes the sexual orientation of more than the 98% of the global population (both males and females).
Erotic novels are geared towards the heterosexual woman, because the way they are designed, they generally get more excited through their "minds" than through their senses.

I made that punctualization because i felt some resentment against men. Correct me if im wrong.

And again, I admit that porn may include some power dinamics if its appealing to their targets, but i don´t see that the porn industry´s finality is misogyny, woman dehumanization and sexual deviations. They are interested in making money, and they are willing to exploit every sexual attraction without considering moral implications. Sexual deviations are the result of excessive porn. If fetishes didn´t escalate, they would keep doing the "same old vanilla" porn. Just as porn for women includes caring and so, things that generally appeal to women.
And about misoginy, i really don´t see where you get that conclusion from. What i clearly see, is that that is the result of a progressive and constant mindset of using others, in this case women as sexual objects, but not as a main goal: they don´t dehumanize women for being women, but as a result of being the object of attraction of the population most excited by sight (the primary sense that porn needs).
So please, i would like to hear your reasons for thinking this way.

You already stated my reasons for thinking that way. I couldn't have explained why P is misogynistic better than the lines you wrote above, all pointing to a conclusion that aligns with my original statements.
As a female, I'll tell you this is wrong. The only reason we resort to written erotica is that we don't like the way our gender is portrayed in P. In this case, it's about female objectification and power dynamics that are favorable to heterosexual men. We certainly are excited through our sight and senses, and our sexuality would be incomplete without this aspect.

The only reason this myth was born is that we don't feel as comfortable expressing our desire like you men do, as we are always cautious of the potential stigma it may imply. And if you still doubt women are visual, you might want to see the women's sections in this forum, and the rest of the internet as well. The explanation as to why P sells sexuality the way it does is that the industry wants to take the easy route, and targets the population with lesser mental inhibitions and sexual shame, thus creating appealing content specifically for them.

In order for that to occur, one needs to become desensitized to the content frequently consumed. And later on seeks a more shocking, novel replacement. Most young boys would start with regular vanilla P, and by repetitive viewing, they end up losing sensitivity to it.

  3. 1. I got into the film making process through college. I met a buddy of mine who was into filmmaking and introduced me to a producer. After a few meetings, I ended up realizing he was a porn producer. I thought it would be a cool gig for a 20 year old to see naked women all day.

    2. Sex became very boring for me after I did a year’s worth of porn. I never found it interesting again and it was now seen as a household chore or a job I didn’t want to work.

    3. Some of the actors and actresses were happy but most of them were there because it was a job. But most of them were unhappy and did drugs.

    4. My current view on porn is anti porn. My current view on masturbation is moderation. Before my job into the porn industry, I was pro-porn and pro-masturbation.

Trimix. It is injected at the base of the penis and will give you an erection for 2+ hours at a time, regardless of how many times you ejaculate.

Yes, thank you for sharing! I learned a lot. Im glad you are "defecting" from this toxic industry and telling your story. Do you know the website "Fight the New Drug"? they are anti porn, non religious group that could amplify your story maybe, and reach more people.

Yeah, Fight the New Drug is a great organisation.
They will surely make your story reach to more people because their primary goal is to educate people about the truth and harms of pornography.
You can share your story to them annonymously, if you aren't comfortable to reveal your identity.

  8. Nofap needs a porn industry tell all, threads like this help you run for the door, this gives you extra reasons to snap out of it and go the other way.

  9. Enjoyed your post though I will have a proper read as I go along. A few questions (though I will accept that I haven't read others in the thread yet
    1. If you have worked as a cinematographer/editor for a porn company - did it improve your prospect as that, did you go on to do bigger things like your classmates
    2. If you don't work there anymore, how did it end?
    3. Are you still in the film industry (of any kind)? (to maintain confidentiality, I won't ask you to give details about your work, so don't disclose your IMDB details)
    4. Do you get people asking you if you would prefer this to a dull 9-5 job? Would you consider trading it in?

geez this is terrifying fact, thanks for sharing..
    i want to know..
    - did you know what is the actors real motivation to join the industry? is it because money or did they just love to have sex?
    - would u mind to tell why and how you quit porn industry?

  11. 1. It depends. For the women, it was all about the money. A female pornstar I knew was dealt with a financial situation and had to quit her career because her career couldn’t pay the money during a financial situation. So, she joined porn. For men, it was a combination. For some, it was about sex with girls while others it was about making money.

    2. I quit the porn industry because it was an unfulfilling career. All I did was film and edit scenes of people having pretend sex.

  12. 1. No, it didn’t because your porn career haunts you forever. I probably made more money than my classmates but it wasn’t worth it.

    2. It ended when I got a job offer from a production studio that wasn’t porn related. It offered less pay but I took it because porn was unfulfilling.

    3.Yes

    4. I much prefer a dull 9-5 job compared to porn.

  15. I've watched quite a bit and this one always bugs the crap out of me. I wasn't sure at all why it always ends this way, why isn't the Woman pleasuring the man to cum? I knew something was wrong with this picture? It seems more deluded and exaggerated for them to take the finale shot. It's not pleasurable, its forcing your self to do it for someone else. Even if it's for the camera angle or view I don't get it. Even in amateur.. Even in Cam sites it's down and dirty and just for money. I've seen models being treated with out care and it's all for greed. I'm so happy that I've been free for over 5 months!!!

I knew myself I was in trouble with grip syndrome, very first time with my current gf was difficult. I can rest assure you Tiger that I am better now and that it's more normal to me.

Thank you so much for your post. I kind of already knew it was faked and staged, currently I watched a video on a cameraman, not sure if it was you. haha But he has said Porn is poison, non the less the actor on the video is someone's daughter since he had kids it reminded it of him.
