Better late than never

    I'm here because porn helped ruin my four year relationship with my girlfriend. About two years ago I was out of town and away from her for a few months. We were in completely different time zones and being bored and alone I decided to watch porn. To my surprise this quickly turned into an addiction that spiraled out of control. It caused me to have many negative feelings and our relationship could not withstand all of it. I've tried to stop many times only to give in very easily. I know that if I ever want to have another meaningful relationship and improve my life, I need to fight this addiction. I'm hoping this will help.

    Welcome and it is definitely a brave thing to decide to go against the trends and address the problem of you addiction. There is plenty of help year. Great tips and advice and also some junk. Hope you will have the maturity to filter through all that and cling to what is helpful to you. The majority of people here are very helpful and will go out of their way to help. Before long you too will become one of those. Wishing you well in you recovery.
