A couple of days ago, I edged for hours.

This resulted in bad pain and I had to stop.

It stopped after a few hours, and I finished.

Today, Its not hurting, but i notice that if my balls shake there is a little bit of an ache.

    Anyone familiar with this.

This is basic physics and physiology.

There is a huge amount of pressure behind an ejaculation.

That pressure builds while masturbating or having sex.

You have been holding back that pressure while edging.

Sex or masturbation to orgasm usually happens in a short time span, often minutes.

You edged for hours, and that was a long time for a lot of pressure to build up.

That pressure has no place to go and put a lot of strain on your balls, prostate, and the rest of your system.

The aches you feel are due to using that system for an unnaturally long time and to all the pressure which has not been relieved.

I do understand how confusing it can be to deal with and try to understand this part of the male body.

Read about “blue balls” on google. If you do relapse again, try not to edge for so long to avoid this problem.

Do you think I'll be fine if I don't do it again?

  5. I like to edge, no, I love to edge. And I've ended up putting the hurt on my balls more than once from that damn practice. And I keep going back for more. And that's also the reason I've got my dumb-ass on no-PMO. Gotta stop edging, bad news.

Of course, you'll be just fine, if you don't do this again.

The human body has amazing ways of regulating itself.

All of that pressure will have by now gone down.

And, the strains on your tissues will completely heal.

I'm not a medical doctor, but I do understand these basics of physiology.

    I'm with you on this.

My problem is the waste of time edging.

I've wasted 3 - 4 hours some days doing that.

At the end, I'm sore and hornier than hell.

Those problems could be avoided if I were to just fap and get it all done with.

But then, I'd only feel depleted, and it would take days to recover from a full blown PMO.

Simply, all this must stop now.

Yes. What you experienced was vasocongestion or the swelling of bodily tissues caused by increased vascular blood flow and a localized increase in blood pressure. You do not need to masturbate to relieve this pain. Applying something cold to your testicles will resolve the issue. If you use ice, make sure you wrap it in a towel. You can also dangle your plums in a bowl of cold water. Better still, do not edge and cause this problem in the first pace. Edging is a relapse anyway after all.

i absolutely agree it is a relapse. But so it is known, only my left testicle is in pain and swollen. What do you think this means if you may happen to have any clue?

I already asked this above , so not to sound repetitive. But do you think ill be fine if its only in my left testicle. im worried. as fuck. no joke.

I am also worried to check my balls in case i get triggered. But i try to peak to make sure, and it looks alittle swollen as well. fuck. I hope this didnt go too far.

I am praying I will be okay and this will just go away.

I am not sure why this happens. But I can tell you that whenever I got blue balls, it was only my right testicle that hurt.

Let me make sure I see the timeline of what you did.

You made your first post about this problem last Sunday, and said that the edging episode happened a few days before.

Your counter shows you are two days out.

If you edged for a long time only a couple days ago, you would still be a little sore.

(I myself have needed about four days to recover from a binge.)

Our balls, as I'm sure you've noticed, are not evenly balanced; one hangs lower than the other.

It seems then that one ball may be favored over the other, and that may be why you feel greater strain in your left.

@IGY says that he got that in his right.

The tissues of our dicks and balls are not tough; they are soft and tender.

Any exceptionally vigorous rubbing down there will inevitably tear them up.

You should certainly watch this over the next few days.

To keep yourself from being tempted in looking at your stuff, remember why you need to do that.

You will be inspecting possible damage, and you should not want to repeat the behavior which may have done that damage.

I don't fear that you have done yourself any irreparable harm.

The human body, as I noted before, has amazing ways of healing itself.

But, I am not a medical doctor.

You know that if this condition worsens, you will need to see a urologist.

So much of what we say on NoFap is a lot of emotional and philosophical hot air.

Your worries are very real and show us that there are physically real reasons why we should not abuse ourselves.

We must be practical men about all this.

I understand that edging can cause balls to ache and lead to blue balls which requires a recovery period. I've had 'normal' blue balls before ('normal' because this is unlike traditional pain) you would feel it in your lower belly opposed to your actual nutsack I would think.

Also, my blue balls of the past usually subsided literally 5 minutes after a finish. This pain wasn't present until a day after my streak.

Your right, I am going to just have to see if it heals. The body is amazing.

But what I think I have is not this. I believe I have epididymitis.

this pain is a low grade dull ache that can radiate unto the leg and lower back. It kinda feels like a low grade pain you feel a while after you get struck in the balls physically.

But think I may have gotten this from that period of blue balls I did have, The blue balls faded away, but my next question if known how to answer is,

Can a blue balls case cause the epididymis (the coiled up part around the testical that fills with sperm) to expand and stretch it and harm it from the sperm being held in there and pressure while edging?

I know you said you are not a doctor. But basically, can blue balls be so bad it does damage?

I had this only once and had to have an emergency out-of-hours appointment. It was an excruciating sharp pain. It is much more painful that a dull ache like blue balls.
Not as far as I know.

    @Pathofsuccess_1

You know I really want to help you, but at this point, I should stop with my commonsense reassurances.

You are asking about some complex medical conditions which are well beyond me.

As with any medical problem, you should watch it closely for a few days.

If it doesn't improve, then you must see a medical doctor.

I recommend a urologist, who is a specialist in the male organs.

Do take care of yourself, and please don't indulge in anything which could make all this worse.
