So I tapped this morning to just sensation for about 10 mins and a few hours ago I watched porn for 3 hours. Does this reset my progress if I stop now?

Its your choice, 3 hours is very long I watched it for about 3-5m today and didn't class it as a relapse. I would say yes because it's 3 hours but overall it's your choice. I don't see how you could watch it for 3 hours the longest sessions I did in the past was about 30min. haha Anyway I don't want to go back to them days at all.

  3. That decision is for you to decide. I wouldn't call it a binge because the term "binge" usually refers to a person repeatedly PMOing multiple times. If you're watching P without MO'ing, or even if you're PM'ing, that's considered edging. Most people consider Edging to be a relapse, as it's as bad for you (if not worse) than edging.

If it were me, I would count it as a relapse, as the ultimate goal is to stop watching porn. But the decision is ultimately up to you!

My question is, why would you watch porn for 3 hours  and not reset?

I don't understand. You think you have to watch it for 15 minutes before you need to reset your counter? Please explain how you can claim to be on day 8?

I didn't m so I don't class it as a relapse, I wasn't happy I did that though, it was about 2 minutes then I instantly realised what I was doing and clicked off the horrible pictures. Also that is just my personal preference.

I'd say watching any porn is a relapse but I understand that once you become more comfortable being strict on yourself you can reset even when you watch 1 min. But starting off u need the encouragement!
I'd make another counter for psubs itll help.

I haven't looked at any nudes and have avoided sexy images whenever possible. Not for 5 minutes, nothing. I guess I've been doing it wrong haha.

What does it matter if you reset or don´t reset?
If your reboot has been damaged/delayed resetting or not-resetting won´t change a thing.
I don´t even count days because it´s not a competition for me.
    Just stop PMO.
Sometimes I feel like people care more about their nofapstreak than actually curing themselves...

There's no cure for being a human pureheart. The libido isn't something that can just be done away with entirely.

I keep a counter to remind me of my duty to my wife. And I take great delight in watching it grow bigger than others. :D so regardless of how people use their counters, its a helpful tool for them so why does it matter? Their understanding of their addiction will evolve.

I hear you, man. Every time someone asks "does X count as a relapse/reset?" - they damn well know it does, or they wouldn't be asking. Unless it is a wet dream. And in that specific case, who the hell would even ask?

In a NoFap challenge, you set your own rules. And if you set your rules - live by them and follow them, for crying out loud.
Relapsing is defined by "going back to past behaviors". If you do so - you have relapsed. End of story.

    Re: counters.
I was without a counter for a very long time, and reinstated it only recently, when I reached 100 days, in order to inspire myself and others. There are those who don't think it is possible for them to reach a goal. Seeing someone else's counter can sometimes remind you that it is, indeed, achievable.

    @MadHatter

the main reason i don´t count is because I want to get rid of PMO behind the scenes. Meaning I don´t want to think about it all day. Stoping PMO is for me important but only a minor goal.
I don´t want to chain myself as "porn-victim" or whatsoever. Because that would make porn haunt a person all enternity.

I don´t intend to be a "pmo-survivor", I intend to squash the irritating fly that porn is to me.

I have to say that in my case my porn "addiction" and history per se is only a very mild one. I am lucky enough to stop young with it (20) and have never had severe problems with it. The reason I am here is not because it is, was detrimental to me or destroyed my life, but instead, because I just thought that it is disgusting and wrong.

Because of that i don´t count. I will just stop for good and after sometime it will be as if it never happened before. End to the story. no big deal.

    Gotcha.
Thankfully, aside from the shame and guilt thing, I never had pornography affect me physically, either.
I am on board with you not wanting to give pornography the "satisfaction" of permanently associating with it in some form.

I can relate with you actually. I joined this site 10 months after I first fapped but I got addicted quickly so I haven't had any long streaks
