Sure internet makes us drift away from real life but still it is up to every person theirselves to go out and live in the real world. Group hobbies for example is a great way to meet like minded people.

  3. Some days I think back to when I was a kid, before the internet, before social media. I miss those days. Life seemed so simple, home seemed like a safe place, our own place of comfort. But now it feels as if a force of some kind is constantly intruding our inner peace. To often does it feel like each day is pointless, I'm still searching for answers.

  4. I don't agree.

If you look at how adaptable life is, you realize that it can adapt to pretty much any kind of environment. That's the beauty of life. And yeah we evolved from primal ways. But if you still think our primal ways dictate the way we continue to innovate, and propel our evolutionary destiny. Then it is kind of a dull way of looking at it. If we as a species was able to develop a brain that could rationalize, and communicate at a social level then what stops us from continuing past the bell curve. No longer does the primal ways dictate who we are. it is society as a whole that dictates our projection if we like it or not. We are social animals after all, and no longer do we get to decide in our biology, I argue it is the whole of human society that is the governing law over where we go from here.

I guess you're right when you say it breaks our brains. But we could be in the early infancy of our next evolutionary stage.

  7. So you are born with free will right? Then why he should help you? You are here with freedom, you decide if pervert yoruself with egoistic materialistic ideologies like malthusianism; social darwinism or control yourself and learn true values of philosophy, ethics.
Please no epigones that deny not only the existance of the free will, but also of the "I am" itself, because is the greatest of the blasphemies ( Matthew 12:31 - And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven)

Evolutionary stage is where everyone who breaks the laws goes to jail. Or is shunned from society . So your aggressive , temperamental , you speed , your a Karen , imagine all these people are done away with because the rules are against human nature unfortunately I'm aggressive tempernental and speed . My brain absolutely detests the daily grind it's no way to live . Rules are there for a reason but not every body has the patience of a saint every day for 60-70 years. Roll on sept automated cars make life that bit easier

Is the word universe and god not just interchangeable in your context ?

Best we just accept our fate and try and enjoy the ride then ?

I get you , but it’s not like I’m asking him to slip me a couple of millions dollars into my bank account or give me a supermodel wife . I’m just asking for a little something , something that says to ‘it’s okay dude , I’m here , keep at it, keep going’ but instead we are all here , in the abyss , trying to pick the bones to try and find a bit of meaning/reason to keep going

You will find what happens is usually not due to free will. I don't believe in free will . Of course we have free will . But your actions are entirely the responses made by the calculations your brain DNA etc makes in a given moment and how your brain has developed through time your simply along for the ride . You are a victim of you Ur environment and your upbringing . There is no god. Your genetics DNA and everything in this world or environment you live in is created by the universe . Humans have been around for millions upon millions of years . How long did it take humans to evolve. Do you think we are special. Maybe when we are calm and enjoy life do we have more free will when we are unhappy we have less free will . It's like porn porn is a compulsion you see what I mean

One idea-instead of waiting for anything to answer prayers (kinda tricky as God is not very talkative and pretty sure that at the end of the day it will be more like inner dialogue than 1-on-1 with absolute abstract being thing)-would be to do some analysis, check out some articles about various hobbies/habits and try them-big chances that some of them will be interesting, bonus points for meeting new ppl and even higher score if one of those becomes your passion.

On top of that big chunk of those have “first lesson” for free! :D

  14. It's there, listen, look, and be open to the unrelated to be related in a push in the right direction. I use to cry out for these things to be realized in my life, for me to see that it's there and always has been. It may take time to see the connections spanning your entire life up to this point, especially if still in the pit.

Even now, as you sit reading there are people here offering you direction, that is pretty cool as an obvious sign.

For sure I get all that kind of stuff . Live a positive life , immerse yourself in a passion but still , when philosophising/contemplating on a deep level you really just see a futility in it all, knowing one day we all end up in the same place with nothing to show for it ? I dunno

Do you ascribe yourself to any particularly creed/religion ?

  17. No not really, when I need something to lean on in times of confusion, I read the hermetic principals to get my barrings back.

So I would say to that:
1)Check out optimistic nihilism-it is extraordinary opportunity to be alive and experience-you can basically learn anything, shape both your surroundings and your mind/body so that those will be comfortable and awesome for your needs/preferences.

2)I am assuming that existence of God as all man-made religions provide is just extreme fairytale, still science certainly doesn’t know everything and maybe entire timeline of universe is one huge endless loop or some form of reincarnation appears or assuming that your consciousness is result of certain order of atoms-given enough time and opportunities that order could reappear-and if we throw concept of infinity then it will be unavoidable. What I am saying that there is theoretical chance for scenario in which you will either directly or indirectly relive your life-so why not make it as nice and worthy as possible. ;)

3)Even knowing that after death there is nothing more you still may need to put some mark in history i.e. by creating family, inventing/building something or just making world better place.

Even if you would prefer to retreat to some particular religion you will still need to create life purpose-I know many theists who are just “declaring, not acting”-if that’s what you want then that is fine too.
Overall for starters I would suggest to develop some healthy habits which will strengthen both your body and mind-then it is far easier to be optimistic Bro!

  20. I mean the last thing God will give to us if he will come is give us money, or a supermodel wife despite is a fact that God in this materialistic world is veiled and he will never come to you for give you something, because with your born you actually have all the tools to reach the objectives you want. I suppose you are exagerating a bit with asking these things. There is ...You go in the Abyss only for reach the peak, i know is like we are living in a hell but don't make the situation worse with asking things that will never compensate your real needs that are not money, notoriety, delicacies. These things are for materialistic humans that miss to have a soul and a spirit and are loyal only to mammon and will never develop something paragonable to Ethos (ethic) or Areté (Virtue). Don't get scammed.
