blazor28 your academics and memory will improve when you abstain from pmo.
I've experienced less brain fog and Better memory when on nofap, so I suggest you to do that.
And all the best for your aipmt; I'm from India as well..
    I missed getting medical seat:'(
    Ended up taking engineering!!

@blazor28 , it sounds like you need to decide what you want to focus on: your competitives, or beating PMO? Beating PMO is really stressful. I never thought I would tell someone this, but this might not be the best time for you to try to beat an addiction? It sounds like you have too much on your plate, as you sound already very stressed in your posts. Maybe wait. However, if you are truly ready to quit, then check out a program. Go to Sacred Sexuality Project on youtube to get some good advice for quitting masturbation.

Dude, you just need to decide to kill the addiction and standby it.
Yes, I improved my grades after NoFap, it allowed me to focus on what is important. though it is difficult to abstain from it in the beginning but remember one thing, Nothing great can be achieved if there is no struggle. The glory is in the struggle.
I would advise you to get your mindset focussed, because time is very important. the golden career shaping years is never going to come back.
    All the best!!

    This is so interesting.

It is not about punishing oneself but rather about 'neither indulging nor supressing'. This is where freedom is at.

For me however I am caught up in my own self interest and am blocked to others and unable to truly love myself and live in a cage of my own creation.

Does anyone know how to put the counter on cause I could never find it? Anyway 80days pmo free today and I am happy but cautious. :p

As I went back and looked at these posts it occurred to me yes the urges are the enemy and that enemy must be destroyed. This is why I live in a cage of my own creation cause of my controlling mind. If I could just see what that is doing to me and will do to me them I would give it up.

@DannyCool , I think you put the counter on by clicking someone's counter, and then following the instructions to "make a new counter." If that doesn't work, it's because the new forum doesn't quite work well with the counters.

250+ days of no PMO, I don't miss it even for a second cause I am more active socially, professionally and things which are important to me.

Things are really going good. I feel healthy and active, more focused and confident.

@Hazim you are absolutely right, there should be awareness spreaded to the kids as a part of sex education. Those career shaping years should not go in vain.

@Brahmachari - You are doing great!! keep it up.

I am so glad I wasnt exposed to extreme porn when I was growing up, but I still admit I have a very serious problem that I am trying to give up. I think that once we have all got ourselves clean, we must help the youth with what the problems they will inevitably encounter.

according to me...younger generation should figure this out themselves. im 17 and i figured that p was destroying me on my own before nofap. if elders keep telling them about this, i dont think this is going to help and learning a lesson on your own is better than 'i told you so! ' .
