A new found but spiteful motivation...

I am surprised to see you encouraging his delusions, the guy get a quick out of feeling superior to these unfortunates fellows he should do some research on it, something like 90% only last 1-3 years and only do it because of stupidity/desperation, the ones that stay and have long and successful career make more money than he will(probably) see in his lifetime, and that is just performers or independent amateurs behind the scene is where the real money is made. Feeling sorry for *these peoples* and trying to quit along with raising awareness of how they are exploited is a better way to go about it if you don't want to contribute to it, much better than to dehumanize them.

 

The logic is like saying heroin users are likely to quit drugs because they found out one of their friends dealers got a 25 year prison sentence

You need to recognise the destruction this addiction is causing you in your life. Realise how it’s holding you back from being the person you are supposed to be for yourself, friends and family . Once you realise that , you’ve got no choice but to quit . Everything else is your mind making fanciful excuses which will run there course

I've never understood this sort of thinking. I see it sometimes in other cases when a successful or wealthy person is criticized or insulted. For some reason it never seems to be used to defend the uber wealthy where the insult should apply the most.

 

I don’t think you understood me(or am I reading this wrong?), I meant that since the OP is happy that some of these pornstars have in the end a miserable life and if I read him right he shouldn’t waste his time jerking off to ppl like this, he should be aware that these are only performers for a short time and for the most part they are unsuccessful, the long timers do not live a miserable life, they make more money than him and are definitely not inferior.
Anyways I did say that behind the scene is where the real money is being made, owner of pornhub is reportedly a multibillionaire; try telling yourself that you are better than that guy.

 

A lot of people think male pornstars are living the dream life. It's only the female pornstars that are violated and abused but this isn't true. Porn will violate your soul and hijack your brain and your reward circuitry.

If you are here because of porn addiction, you have contributed to the porn industry greatly, just as they have. There is no supply if there is no demand, and you have been part of that demand, as have all of the rest of us.

Judging and condemning pornstars, as a porn addict, and reveling in their destruction, is hypocritical imo.
