    Day 29

I decided to put another counter .. a counter that does not go to zero in one step .. I do not want it also to be statistical (average and so on) .. It will be a counter for new habits introduced and another counter for how long I stayed on them (especially the first 40 days) .. For example, I will stick to a few habits for 40 days until they are part of my routine .. after that I will add them to my "habits counter" .. in the new 40 days I will add another new habits and so on .. I introduced 8 new habits for more than two weeks now but I will start counting from today ..

    ## sorry sometimes you will find me editing the post and changing the number of habits when I remember a new one ## ;)

    they are:

    1) Stop work/studying at maximum 20:30

    2) Not to watch movies if the movie will end beyond 20:30

    3) sleeping and waking up early

    4) Stopped all unhealthy food (sweets, snacks, .. etc)

    5) Reading powerful reminders in the morning, afternoon and at night

    6) listening positive music or powerful reminders while working/studying

    7) mental habit: think of the easiest shortest way possible to solve the problem in front of me (to not complicate things more than necessary)

    8) Writing here every night

My new counter starts from today:

    #total_new_habits = (8)

    #days_of_new_habits = (1/40)

Let's do this mate. Keep those voices quiet and concentrate on progress.

One day. One step. One hour at a time.

My motivation is down and I'm tired on a free day which is of course psychological exhaustion.
But I know I can't go on like this. I need to do something, I can't let depression, moods or habitual negative pattern define what I do and not do. I need to make a stop. Wellness could be the answer: I decide to take time for myself but I need to define what I do. Or exercise or work. Starting is the most difficult.

Against all odds, I must try to quit with all the behaviors that replace healthy habits
    • today I stopped drinking coffee
    • tomorrow I want to stop with sugary sweets
    • generally I shouldn't drink alcohol
I also need to work how I deal with my devices and internet. Ideal would be, to use internet only for things that are definitely of great importance for me. Work-related, crucial for learning, recovery, good habits, crucial for social life.
That means I need to stop with 95% of my online activities, including social media.

  18. Hello everyone, I've been lost here haha but wanted to share this post from my journal today...

    60 DAYS PORN FREE!!!

Hey everyone, I've done it, 60 days without watching a single porn video, ad or social media post... and it feels EXTREMELY GREAT! :D Of course I'm not 100% healed but man, I don't feel like going back to those trashy PMO sessions anymore, it drains my energy and a lot of time which I need to study and work more and more on myself - or just rest, I'm learning how to do it properly.

And I had to reset my counter yes, but I didn't give in and that's why I'm so proud right now... 2 months, never thought it would be kinda easy, the first 2-3 weeks were A TRUE HELL all the withdrawal symptons, shame, lack of hope, tears, anxiety... but it all was worth it, look where I am now, free of it... I still have to be careful, but I've already removed the block to P sites myself a few days ago and I have 0 intentions of even going to peek, that's stupid and weak, the real life and girls are out there waiting for you to get your shit together and enjoy life in a healthy way - the sooner you stop watching P the sooner you will realize it.

I wish I had done this before when started on NoFap on December 2020, but okay no regrets now, this was a perfect time to do it again and I'll crush it from now on... and this is just a sneak peek of my success story once I reach 90 days in the counter, this year will be amazing for me and NoFap is certainly one of the most important factors for that to happen.

Stay strong everyone, the pain is worth it in the end and it gets better!
