Hi guys , I don’t know why I can’t ask a question. I am a 20 years old , I’m addicted on porn 10 years ago and masturbation 8 years ago . I was shy , bored , weak , lazy , have no vision with my life so I tried to quit it . I’m trying to quit it since I was 15 but I relapse and relapse but I reached 30 days and 49 days without porn and wow that’s amazing but unfortunately I relapse again . Allah was always with me and I never gave up I’m in a good college and having good alot friends but I’ do it . My hair fall , my sight became bad , I live a day good and another bad . I’m tired with it and I’m in my first day now . I read that it need 90 days to heal from porn but as I said I’m trying to quit it 5 years ago so I do it only 4 times a month and I’m not that addicted but I relapse always .. so my birthday after 14 days and I’m in my first one . I wanted to make my 21 birthday something bigger and well but I relapse . I was thinking about making my BD a new life 2 months ago but I relapse . So if I quit it for 14 days , will I be able to start a new life from my birthdays ? Or it’s a short period to recover ? Also what should I do to speed up my recovery time so I can heal in 14 days ? I’m working out and eating well . But I’m now in finL exam so I need to study too much . So guys what should I do ? Also my hair and my sight ‘ll gonna be better if I quit it ?

Hello, take it easy. i advise you put as priority your final exams, concentrate on this target and dont be messed up with other thoughts. your birthday could not be your turning point. Put as priority your immediate need which is the success in exams and dont be dissapointed if any relapse occur. This perspective must not fill you with anxiety. I know that postponing this issue is not a good advice, but you are too young to handle it right now given your sense of guilt due to religious influence. When you accomplish your duties and tasks you will have time to think of it deeper.

Well, the sexual desire will always be there. You only do it 4 times a month, so at least you aren’t a heavy user.

To advance to the next stage, I’m really not sure. You need to maybe accept the idea that you won’t be having sex for a while. Once you can truly accept this, then things might be easier.

I think in the back of your mind, you are still strongly desiring sex. Change this desire, and maybe you can reach the next level

Thanks_at first _ but I’m not askin about complete cure , I ask if 14 days ‘ll gonna make me think ‘ll and take decisions in my life ? Or I won’t be able to do that just a lazy youngman . Is this worth to take a risk and make this 14 days a period that I’ll lean on to built a new life or I just ignore my birthday and wait 90 days to start a new one … just exciting that after 14 days everything’ll gonna be fine . Do you get it ?
