No, no, that´s the catch; see, you are assuming there that porn is realistic, which it´s not, that simply shows how effective the Porn industry campaign has been; hentai is just a little more unrealistic.

 

The difference between art and porn is that art creates a multitude of impressions and is suggestive at most. Porn is unambiguous and one-dimensional. Hentai is designed to generate sexual arousal and not much else of anything. It's produced as a porn category and I don't see how it could be consumed as anything else than that.

From my years of being a PMO addict, or should I say, HMO addict hentai in itself is much worse than regular porn. In hentai, things can be changed and bent to the artist's will, and speaking from experience, I have found hentai videos/mangas more stimulating to the point where regular porn did not have the same effect. It has to do with how unrealistic or even more unnatural it is, as there are fetishes that exist only within hentai that cannot be feasibly replicated in real life.
