Hello, everyone. I am a 31-year-old loser with no girl, job, bank balance, future prospects, plans, ambitions, goals, friends. I am not exaggerating a bit, in fact, I am just stating the above things a tad bit too humbly. This PMO addiction has turned me into the biggest loser you can imagine. I literally have nothing to show for the 31 years I have lived on this planet. I ruined my educational career, ambitions, and goals, job prospects, and most importantly the girl that I loved more than anything. She was the one, the only being I could have loved so much, and someone who loved me equally but due to my being a super loser, she got married elsewhere. Really can't forget that last meeting with her. Her eyes were so red due to weeping and her last words; I will never forgive you.

My brothers, I beg you, I seriously beg you. Consider me your future self who just came back to warn you. Pls, pls, get rid of this addiction. No matter what you have to do or have to go through, it's all worth it. One more second spent in this addiction is not worth it. All the pain and hardships you'll go through to get rid of this shit is worth every second of it. Pls, pls, get rid of it. This loser with no life and anything, typing this from his parents house while jobless and a social recluse has no right to dish out advice but let me warn you. This is going to take you down, this is going to take everything down along with you. I was just like another bright kid. Smart, energetic and full of aspirations. 15 plus years of this addiction ruined every bit of my life. I considered suicide but I am too pussy for that. Pls, let the path to sobriety fuck you and I assure you it's not one percent as bad as one more minute spent in this filthy addiction. Man, I miss her so much, so much.

Anyway, right now, I have zero friends, zero social ties, super high social anxiety, zero cash of my own, no job or any hope of getting one without any skill. Pls, learn from my example. Stop this moment. Do whatever it takes to get out of this shithole. Whatever it takes! I beg you all.

Thread on point. Really feel you, I was in your exact same shoes 1 year ago.
Time to change habits, PMO will leave yourself feeling suicidal at some point.

We all can do it, stay strong!

The past is done. You need to move on, learning from your past mistake’s. You may think you’re old but truthfully you’re still really young. Right now today, stop feeling sorry for yourself and start your new life. Twenty years from now you will be so happy you made the right changes. Sex is such a small part of our lives. It took me forever to figure that out. You are way ahead of where I was at your age.

You are not a loser. You are here. Tomorrow is a new day. We’ve all felt like that from time to time but you’ve got to let it go and move forward

I hope you can eventually start taking the small, immediate steps you need to take to get out of this situation. One thing at a time, don't have to fix your whole life at once. I recently came across an idea on the huberman lab podcast about how visualizing fears is more effective of a motivator than the usual visualizing success. He explains a lot of the neurobiological reasons but i'd probably mess up explaining it. I'll probably write out a visualization like that in my journal on here. Point is, maybe this can be a motivator, even if it feels like you're at rock bottom. I'm sure theres something that can get even worse, and can be prevented by you taking the right actions today.

Thanks for your testimony @TonyTokoyo, I hope it will help others to realize how bad this addiction is. On the other hand, I wish you the best. Take courage and carry on, you can still do great things for you and for others. If you are in the bottom you can only go upwards.

  13. exactly same as my life.. I am also too frightened to end this life but i know death is more meaningful than this addicted life.

  15. Man, I can tell you everything is better with God. You might feel worthless but if you accept God in your heart then I can tell you that richman and poor man can sit at one table because they have the same God.

Altho we all have big problems we could cry over and bit*h about and even knowing the fact that i fuckd up my life pretty much as well, life is still a wonderful thing, almost like a video game and we can actually do anything we want. Dont lose hope, change your prospective and the way you are thinking first and then start changing your life. Thank you for sharing ur story and god bless.

  17. Sadly to say but our story is alike. 10 years of pmo and nofap on and off. I have nothing either. Quit job, failed school, student loans.... This addiction put me on my knees. All I do is wake up at 12pm, eat something by force. Get back to sleep more, take a shower at night as a routine and the process is on repeat.
I'm so fed up. I don't know what to do....

I am afraid this can be my future self.If I carry on the way I am ,I may be even worst.I don't want to.Can I?YES. I take oath not to waste my time, energy, consciousness in masturbating and watching porn.

  20. 31 years sucks, but there's probably more than twice as much life to live. I'm happy that you've already been sober for two months. Your post is heartbreaking, but the fact that you want to fight is amazing and it's a clear proof that you shouldn't call yourself a loser. Stay on NoFap, try to do your best, and start living, because it's not too late. I'm cheering for you and if I can be of any help, write.
