I have been addicted porn since I was 11 years old. I am currently 17, and just recently began to question my daily engagement with porn. Upon discovering the harmful affects of PMO, I started to make the attempt to abstain from the use of pornography. After months of repeated failure, I began to reconsider my efforts of quitting porn. Not wanting to give up so easily, I decided to join the NoFap community with people that face the same struggles as I do. In this community, I hope to see change in my life and share hardships that I couldn't openly with other people my age. Good luck to all of you fapstronauts! :D

  3. Hi @JelloCelloFello
It is good news you realized so quickly that this is a addiction and you should get rid of it
My advise always to young guys like you: you should talk with your parents, or any other adult you can trust.
I know this is not an easy conversation, I had it with my wife three months ago.
But you cannot fight this war alone, you will need a lot of support and tools , this is a hard addiction to get rid of, and it is easier if you can share your pain, and become accountable in front of others. Do not be afraid, this is an addiction like others, you are not responsible for getting this, and you should not be ashamed to speak out
    Good luck

Thank You for your wise words of encouragement, discussing it with my parents is an intimidating feeling. I shall work on the courage to tell them somehow.

  5. Of course. I practiced several days before talking to my wife, and when I started, nothing came out from my throat and Instarted crying. Eventually I could talk and this took out a big pressing feeling from my chest.
I do not know how is your relationship with them, if they are too religious, if they think that PMo is a sin, etc.
If it is not to them, consider talking to an older brother or cousin, or some adult you can trust
Again, we are addicts, we are not sinners. The important thing is that you realized this and you want to change

Thank you for your support! I am happy to see someone younger than doing so well at this program. It inspires me and reminds me of the possibility of becoming clean.
