If porn still exists in 2050, then humanity has failed.

IMO high speed internet porn was the game-changer. If things had continued with under the counter or top shelf magazines or even grainy video tapes of porn films, it could have been contained. However, high speed internet porn is addictive in the extreme. It was what cause a sudden increase of erectile dysfunction in teenagers! It is an indictment on humanity that this was not addressed much earlier. But as we know, even so-called experts assert that there isn't even a problem!

 

Better worry about what will happen this year or next few years after all this covid circus comes to an end.

Soon porn will look very different. it will be geting more and more technologically advanced. The virtual reality porn will be more prevalent. Also more and more AI (Artificial Intelligence) Sex Dolls will be marketted. So, instead of watching porn on your PC/Smartphone, you will be able to screw a robot, that looks like a hot chick. They will behave more and more like human and will be getting more and more available to buy. In 2050 (if the humanity survive until then) we will probably have a multitude of AI Sex Dolls, that will be programmed to fulfil all kinds of your sexual wishes, so the normal porn that we have right now may become redundant indeed.

 

Call me crazy, but certain theocratic or 2nd world nations have a good handle on this kind of stuff for a reason. That's why my future kids (if I manage to stop firing white thick ropes on a regular basis) will live in a nation with limited access to a sedentary lifestyle or Internet in general.

Porns not going away. The sex industry has been around forever. It will continue to evolve with technology. It's going to get worse since we all communicate so heavily on the internet and our devices. I do hope however that there will be more ways to block what we don't want from our devices easier. ISPs and companies that provide services online have made it so easy to access porn. Which is fine for those who want to watch it. I guess... But they've made it almost impossible to avoid porn if you want to keep it off your phone, computer or TV. Even if you have great blockers, a curious kid who is persistent can see ALOT.

What other billion-dollar industries do you see giving people access to all of its products for free, essentially?

I remember jumping through hoops to see porn in the past. I remember a time when I'd have to wait to download torrents or purchase a movie off cable to see that stuff. Guys older than me can remember when they had to go to video stores or wait for magazines in the mail. NOW?! We all know how easily we could access some crazy shit... Now you jump through hoops to avoid seeing porn. Blockers, counters, support groups & therapists. It wouldn't take much for me to get past google safe search. It ain't that safe tbh. The internet in general isn't safe. But it could be better. There should be more responsibility on companies and site owners to better tag and flag their content. Large tech companies like google can recognize every person I've ever taken a picture with, but somehow can't block porn effectively? If you're an adult it's definitely on you to manage but for the young people its going to be a nightmare situation I think.

I do think it's funny I have to pay a premium to block what I used to have to pay a premium to access.

 

Honestly I don't see the Western nations of the world being as powerful and impactful as they are now in a couple of decades. China and Russia have already made pacts and most of the world does not agree with western degenerate views (Even some nations in the EU dont even atone to some of the values). In the middle east you see this sky rocket too, and such I could see us either completely changing into a more traditional valued set of nations or we will simply just not exist anymore or we become irrelevant on the world stage.
