So I've been a heavy porn user since the ages of 12-13, multiple times a day, even upwards to six times a day. I've had relationships, one night stands, was even engaged at one point so I'll lay out that I have had sexual encounters with the opposite sex and successful ones for the most part.
Recently (within the last three weeks) I've really started to take on sobriety across all areas of my life and wanted to see if anyone else was dealing with some of these same PMO withdrawal symptoms.
I'm 26, in good shape, and no underlying medical conditions that I know of.

Some of the more common ones I'm aware of and I experience are as followed

-fatigue (I do excercise and go for walks or sit at the park but I have no energy almost all day)
-Mood Swings (feeling the emotions I've been numbing all of these years)
    -Depression
    -Isolation/Loneliness

And here are some other things I've been experiencing that I've only seen in one other thread but wanted to get some feedback from other members, mind you these are relatively new and I've had blood work done and blood sugar done to rule out a disease or diabetes.

    -Frequent urination
-Waking up to pee at least once if not more a night
    -flucutating appetite

Now I believe I have had felt or experienced some of the benefits reported by other members but I'm still early on in the process.

I bounced these off of my therapist and he said to me last week specifically that I'm finally waking up. He also confirmed with me he read reports that PMO was similar to cocaine addiction. So there's that.

The big thing for me is the waking up at night to pee, it will always happen after 4 or 5 hours of sleep (so midnight to 1 AM) and I'll lay back down and toss and turn for a bit and then I'll wake up around 5 AM which is my normal time.
I'm feeling very tired throughout the day and very fatigued to the point we're I don't even want to do anything.

Write down in your replies some potential withdrawal symptoms you've experienced that you may have not read on the forum yet so we can help other other members get a broader picture of the potential withdrawal symptoms.

    On experience:
(Insomnia), specially the two first weeks

  3. i also have fr. urination. I believe it's a part of the recovery. The thing is you must stop panicking and must trust in the process (reboot). We are fucking our body ourselves all this years and body is damaged due to that. I also started pmo at an early age , even before adolscents. So beileve and fight.

I have been having crazy insomnia but unsure if it's related to withdrawl. I recently broke my hand and just got out the splint two weeks ago - could be a major factor. But I tell myself if I'm still under 90 days sober, "its all withdrawl."

If the dopamine response is similar to that of cocaine (my therapist mentioned a study in our last session) than it makes sense to me that our bodies are going through a whole process of healing and withdrawal right now. Now couple that with a developing brain at 12-13 it makes complete sense that the body would have all sorts of reactions.
I don't have a UTI as far as I know, no diabetes, blood work came back fine and so did my blood sugar. Now I do have a urologist appointment in April so maybe that will shed some light but I'm doubtful. I have a good feeling it's the withdrawal.

Ahh yes , fatigue , my bane , my ultimate enemy in life ...ive suffered his oppression for like 7 years now , towards the end of which , all i could think about was killing myself...my fatigue didnt even let me get up to take a glass of water and drink it , my legs felt like they werent able to lift my weight ...and fatigue isnt really fatigue unless it cripples you both mentally and physically ..so yeah my problem solving and arithmetic abilities are on an all time low...
You know there are myriad of things that PMO addiction does and they are very varied and diverse...somebody experiences insomnia , somebody experiences fatigue , heart palpitations , adhd , migraines , depression and the list goes on and on..this curse which afflicts so many people works very subtly and the worst part is no doctor will till you that PMO does that...either theyre conflicted abt it or they think its completely safe or worse , theyre afraid to say out loud that PMO is bad ....

But nevertheless , ive been firstly on a 75 day streak and after that i had 5-6 relapses in the next 20-25 days ...
Im pleased to say that ive observed recovery in myself , fatigue is going and my faculties are returning , but yeah the process is quite slow...well , i was addicted to it for about 10 years , let it take its time..
    Hope this helps..
