    @EndPornLiveLife hell yeah! Nice to meet you in the higher class!

    I am struggling.
    I noticed that, on one hand I dont watch porn on my pc or anywhere but once I see some pics I just fantasize and create my own porn in my head, which resembles all the scenes I watched earlier.
    I must control the thoughts because if I create it in my head, its the same as I watch it, sort of.

    And now I am after leg day -> I am always horny after gym -> i have day off and plenty of time.
    My fantasies are getting stronger and I already edged very very softly but stopped and now obviously all I can think is going all the way and just play more with the fantasy.

    I think already a mistake and I must stay away from bed.
    Going for cold shower now.

    I must report I couldnt tame myself.
    I edged again and again so I decided its no point going on when I already made the defining mistake.

    I remain in 7day challenge.
    I reached 3days = good step forward
    Now its time to reach 7days and then can release.
    For me cold turkey never worked.
    I will do this step aproach.
    Edging = reset in my book

    7day no edging is my goal now.

    hey you can count the no of urges you win since your reset.Like whenever you are about to fantasize but not relapse, you just note the time and date of winning over that urge/fantasizing.You will be glad to notice soon that you have atleast controlled/defeated "n" no. of urges and it will give you confidence.Atleast you will be able to track the pattern.

    Since I didnt reach 3days I am going down to 3day challenge.

    Yewwww! Great to have you here bro.

    Yeah it's a tricky one - we can't walk away from our thoughts like we can our phones and computers. Thankfully there are still things we can do. I'm starting to look at my underlying motivations, why I turn to PMO etc, and it equally applies whether P is involved or not. Of course it's a mix of reasons, but worth exploring.

    Here's the latest vid I watched, which could be indirectly relevant. Maybe you'll find it helpful.

    Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up mate.

    However, I do believe it's helpful to sit with our emotions sometimes. See what the rational and irrational reasons are for why we feel like crap after O.

    Eg Irrational:
    - I'm worthless, I'm useless, I can't do what I say I'm going to do.

    Rational:
    - I broke my commitment to myself.
    - I've paused my progress

    And then to review why we want to stop PMO/MO.

    For me the reasons to stop include:
    - I'm a Christian and so I see it as sin
    - I want to see women for what they are: real people, created by God, not just sex objects for my gratification
    - I don't want inappropriate images popping in my head at random times (or ever)
    - I want to use my time for things which move me forward, not backward, which porn jeopardises
    - I want to have a vibrant sex life with my future wife, if that happens

    This last part, reviewing reasons for giving up porn, is what I'm doing mentally every day now. And I've got to keep doing it.

    I'm keen to hear your thoughts, suggestions, encouragements, failures, successes. Keep on posting.

    Day 3
    Oh man!!! This morning, I sent an hour edging and browsing escort ads....it took a lot but in the end I was able to snap out of it by taking a shower. I won't be lucky next time, for sure.
     
  16. Day 5/7 >> Day 0/7. I relapsed but I'm back into track very quickly, staying thinking too much on the sin/problem will not solve it, acting will, let's go!
