    Hello guys,

Has anybody in here experienced heaviness inside our head during your porn habit? I remember when i was heavy binging into porn, inside my head it used to feel like my brain has been replaced with a stone. it used to feel so heavy. That weird pulsating feeling inside my head. I remember when i used to shake my head, there used to be sharp pains all over my brain.

Now after 2 years porn free, almost 90% of my brain is healed but i still feel that heavy feeling on the left and right corner in my brain, just above both the ears.

Can anybody tell me how many experienced it, your experience with it and how much time it takes the brain to heal from a 10 year old porn addiction.

What's up friend, well I also felt my head hurt, I felt dizzy and sometimes it weighed me down after using pornography, it burns dopamine receptors and neurotransmitters, a few days after leaving it the headaches go down a lot

You should go see a doctor about that, I don't think that is anything to do with quitting porn.

Absolutely, that's a terrible feeling and I don't want to feel that anymore

  5. Heavy porn use could be the cause...

Uh no. That's definitely apart of porn induced symptoms.

(I'm not someone who can give a diagnose, just my thoughts about it) The feelings you describe could be psycho-somatic which would mean, yes, it could stem from your addiction or a general psychologic trouble (i.e. strong frustration, guilt ...).
But the "sharp pain" and maybe also the "pulsating feeling" sound like symptoms that should definitely be checked by a physician!
Good that most of it lays in the past! Congrats on your successful recovery!!!

I can relate to this "brain feels like a stone" in so far as the porn addiction and its consequences often result in a similar feeling. But it's more like a general how I feel and the condition I think my brain, my body and my soul are in and I can't feel it literally IN my brain. But people are different and so I'm not surprised if others in a similar situation are actually feeling it in the brain.

People do describe all kind of symptoms. Really! Nearly everything you can imagine. Look up P.A.W.S in the forum

  9. His response was to Shogun who said that porn could not caused the symptoms OP experiencing.

    No shit.

I wish idiots would stop preaching, "well you should see a doctor!" if their symptoms are different from theirs. Such bullshit minimization. You should be ashamed.

I'm actually not against seeing a doctor for any troubling symptom (see my other post above). My point is merely that people have described a wide range of symptoms that they themselves associate with porn addiction or more specifically with post acute withdrawal symptoms (P.A.W.S.) and not with any other health issue. If it's true that all the symptoms that those people have described are really only porn induced symptoms is a medical question and I certainly don't know the answer to it.

There's a big thread in this forum called P.A.W.S. something and there you can see for yourself what kind of symptoms people describe months or years after the addiction.
It's up to you if you do that or what you make out of it, if you do so.
    Have a good day!
