    Hi, everyone! I hope you are all doing well.

    I haven't updated in a couple weeks. Unfortunately I relapsed some days ago. I made it past 230 days or so, and I'm very happy for that. I have been having very stressful days recently and I felt a lot of confusion and uncertainty. That's the reason why I couldn't stop me from going back to porn. I'm better now and I think I'm back on track on this journey.
    We all have ups and downs. And we all stumble. But we can always get back up.
    I am going to stop updating this thread but I will come back once in a while if I have something to share or need some motivation.

    Just checking in,

    Finally a good day!
    Spent time with friends (more on that in my journal),
    0 urges except the urge to turn my PC off and rest my head!

    Its also great to see that everyone else in the accountability group is doing excellent progress aswell :emoji_thumbsup:

    sorry for letting you guys down, havent been replying at all or anything.

    I will say this though. I did get a job again though.

    Also, I might be enrolling into a very nice coding boot camp called "Flatiron School".

    I will let you know how everything goes.

    I did relapse today though. sigh.

    Hopefully greener roads are ahead

    I'm up to day 7 but feel like I haven't been so productive because I just have been dog Sick with food poisoning and that has really helped me to not act out PMo....
    So there's something I think to be said for just trying to be true to yourself in a real way and then having gentle discipline, not insane discipline, and not no discipline, but somewhere in the middle....

    Okay 8 days and I'm starting to feel better so what's important is gentle discipline not too much and not too little just gentle control on my mind and every time I'm out of line just gently bringing it back in line applying the ended Oates keeping onmoving thank you all....
    so Angels on the heads of everyone who is in noFap, Angels on the heads of everyone struggling with sex addiction may all people be free

    hi fapstronauts,

    I am joining this site and this group today as I am, once again, starting on day 1 of quitting P for good. sending much love and respect to all of you here.

    some quick things about me:
    - initial journey began about two years ago while quarantined due to covid. I was using P almost every day but also began researching sites such as nofap, yourbrainondrugs, and fightthenewdrug. I am grateful to have found these sites and yall's group here today! I believe use of p had other negative efforts from a young age but considering the beginning of my nofap journey from 2 years ago.

    - my efforts have increased and decreased over the last two years. lately, I have been relapsing around days 7-10. this time, I am shooting for 90!

    - I am coming up on 1 year with my gf, who is aware of and very supportive/respectful of my efforts in this regard. brief note on that: for those with challenging thoughts re: women due to shame/guilt, I just want to share that in my personal experience, the women in my life (including friendly and intimate relationships) have respected my awareness of the negatives of this p use and making genuine efforts to combat it.

    lastly, some learnings and efforts from my journey that I will apply to this newly-motivated effort
    - i have a p blocked on computer and phone.
    - my cell phone will not enter my bedroom. it will charge in the living room. i will use a digital clock (crazy right!) for telling time/setting alarm.
    - I will post here at least once every 3 days.
    - The days that I do not post, I will do an exercise or meditation on the app fortify.
    - I will engage in at least two of the following activities a day (in addition to exercise/go outside, which is part of my job)
    --- read book
    --- journal
    --- call/FT a friend or family member
    --- listen to podcast/ted talk or do sudoku/kenken
    --- research country to travel to or place to visit


    please feel free to message or comment or anything! (not sure exactly capabilities as I am new to site)

    Welcomes SKizzy.... I think it would be great if we did hold each other a tiny bit more accountable with promises the way you are expecting that we are but mostly this site it's kind of just reporting how you are everyday or in a consistent way...
    I am day 9 today which is amazing I find that my journal to read it a little bit every day really helps me meditation really helps me. Doing a little exercise run helps me so whatever of those that you do for yourself my encouragement would be to do though and the report if you don't do them when you had intended to...
    Also I have to save for me things are a little kind of fucked up in my relationship right now with my sister and I just want to keep an even Keel there's an anything I can do about it she has to work some issues and what I could do to help her is just stay true to my program

About a week or 1,5 week not posted anything but this time I did something with NoFap (watch the free webinair of the no fab HCT-method via the site of dopamine detox) to gain extra motivation for the last 25/20 days. Because of Kingsday and Hardfest (2 festivals) I do use social media like IG and Snapchat). Seeing shit I used to wach, let it escalate and fap on, but I did not get an urge and did not really looked at it. Nevertheless I do see some negative side effects of the dopamine from using social media, despite using it good on NoFap terms. So I will plan moments for social media time (in total max 30. minutes a day) to get back more motivation and getting better social skills again

    Checkin after a long time

    Just wanted to put out here that i am on day 24 for the nth time again . But i live for the days i am clean , its phenomenal . Every relapse made me feel bad , suffocated but it gets better . I have occasional bursts of moments where i surprise myself and others and think that life has so much other things to offer. I will get stable , cant wait for that.!!!

    You are a fighter , dont give up , keep changing your approach to end this if you dont get it right, keep rocking !!

    Guys, I'll probably relapse today. I already searched for some things in instagram, I didn't find anyhting super sexy, but this is cleary a sign of what is going to happen. HELP
