Being 26 in a LDR. There's alot to resist

Hi! I have been in a relationship for 4,5 years now of which 2,5 LDR. That is also the current status, LDR. However, this time is harder than other times. I think mainly because the last time we were together, we had a major fight where I was seriously considering breaking up. However, I decided to give it some time and now everything is alot better. Accept for the fact that my urges have become stronger than ever. I see pretty and thoughtful women all around me. My female friends are in my eyes now potential people to cheat with. Perhaps when we accidentally get too drunk. I also fap way more and watch more porn than ever. I know that these are extremely bad thoughts. What happened to me doesn't give me the right to cheat and I don't think I actually will. But the thoughts are overencompassing, making it hard to focus on other things. I think masturbating and giving in to the urges, even though it isn't with an actual women, is making these thoughts pop up more often. That's why I want a clean slate and ease of mind. No more brain fog (or brain fuck). To ensure that I stay on track, I will use this forum for positivity and self-monitoring. Wish me luck!
