How much of your time is around women ?

I assume family doesn't count, otherwise it'd be often for me, heh. But since post 2020, almost none for now.

 

Other than my mother, no time at all.

 

I'm confused about the question... are you asking how much time people spend around women? Why do you assume this:

That's just weird to me. Why would that be a true assumption? It might be true for you, but about half the population is female, so it seems odd to assume people mostly are around other men.

 

Most of my time I spend with my partner and my cat. Then family, which would be 4 women and 5 boys/men.

Then there are my clients, which I only see occasionally. Probably about half and half, men and women.

When I was a teenager, I'd say it was about half and half. I probably had more guy friends, but I had a few girl friends I was pretty close to. And being s girl myself, I had sleepovers and such with the girls, and not with the boys, so in that sense I probably spent more time with my girl friends. But I felt like I got along better with the guys.

In college, I didn't have a lot of friends, but I guess I'd say most of my friends were guys.

Nowadays, aside from family, my friends are usually other married couples, so it's quite literally 50/50.

 

I'm a raging homoromantic person man, all I think about all the time is women lol. I EXCLUSIVELY - I shit you not like I actually do I could prove it - listen to music with womxn lead voices as well. And I listen to more than 24h worth of music each week. The people who inspire me are women, my role models are women, my favourite people in the world fictional and real are women, my sister is my best friend. My biggest client is a woman. I don't have friends but ALL the people I'm closest too are women. My twin cousins who are 17yo and whom I am extremely close are women. My aunt which apart of course from my mother is probably my favourite person on earth is well, a woman. I play video games who have female protagonists. My literature heroes are women. I rarely watch movies but when I do it's almost always female empowered ones.

Lmfao. Maybe I'm just really gay. I cannot believe I am attracted sexually by men.

Like it's only in porn that this all changes, weirdly fucking enough. 99% of the porn I watch is gay men / people with penises. I have never understood that and it lead to some deep confusion about my gender and sexuality. I am now sure of who I am though. I have given it a lot of thought and I think it is because I don't have a penis and I am a total virgin so it's "exotic". Unknown, foreign, and so, exciting.

he is referring to male users of this site, i don't have stats in hand but i bet something like 90% of them are males. (Wikipedia describe this site as a manosphere, which is true for the SR abstinence section)

I like to think that in some distant future people will be grown entirely in labs(or something) so there won't be anymore physical difference between males and females in this way we will reach true equality.

 

I think OP is asking how much of your MEANINGFUL time is spent around women, not how often you see them day to day. For a lot of lonely, isolated men, the answer genuinely is zero or close to it. I was obviously being lighthearted in my initial post but I wasn't lying; other than my mother I literally never interact with other women face to face.

 

I don't think that's what he's referring to. He said the majority of your time is around other men. He's talking about life, not just on this site.

I guess if that's what he's asking then that makes more sense. It's pretty typical for most people to interact more on a deeper level with their own gender. I'm sure if you asked a group of women the same question, they would probably mostly say that they have much more meaningful time with other women than with men.

 

It may be worth rewording the initial post so it is more clear. While I was not confused it's obvious others were.

 

Other than time at work I would have to agree with you.

2020 completely disemboweled my social life, which now that I graduated college and got a job. I am trying to rebuild. I don't know if I am the only one on this but I feel as if my social anxiety has grown and my social skills have atrophied since then. I believe it's important to actively try and expose yourself to uncomfortable situations to gain more confidence.

I thought you were saying that he was referring specifically to men here, not to men in general. You're just misunderstanding me.

Seems to me you're making assumptions about people in this forum.

Maybe you meant 'my time' rather than 'your time'. I think quite a lot of men in this forum spend a fair amount of time with women. I don't spend as much time as I used to but I'm going through a transition in my life right now so I'm sure it will change.

Since I've lived in Asia, I've mostly had women as roommates. My closest friends have been women as well.
And I try to consistently go on dates when I can.
I want to say like... 80% of my hangouts are with the female gender these days. And 20% with dudes

It's weird, because it used to be the total opposite back in the States
