So I'm merely a week in my current streak and this happened:
I've been out of the house to go write an examtwo days ago. Its the first time I see people in a long time. I was more excited to go out of the house than to write the actual exam. I probably didn't make it either. I saw some old classmates and we were glad to see each other. Yesterday I went to a concert and it was fantastic. Met lots of wonderful people and it was a successful evening. I didn't watch anything suggestive in my week long streak, I haven't relapsed on my current week long PMO free streak yet
And during the night it happened
    I had a wet dream.
Why is this happening!!!!!!!!!??????? I'm so upset because I feel I've failed and I didn't do anything to lead up to this. And only after a week???????!!!!!!!
I've tried everything to never get a wet dream again. What on earth is going on???!!!!!
    This is just terrible.

relax, it is just a wet dream. its your body reacting to the new, no need to feel bad about it.

wet dreams are involuntary, no reason to feel shame or guilt. in fact I would see it as a sign of progress.

I'm feeling so down. That was the quickest I had a wet dream after a streak began, and I come from a much longer streak from before. But anyway. What can I say...HERE WE GO AGAIN...!

You didn't break your streak at all, don't worry. There's no need to have any feelings of doubt or shame - what happened was completely involuntary and a natural part of the healing process for many men who undergo rebooting. You might have more, you might never have one again. It's completely up to your brain and body, not your conscious waking self.

If it makes you feel any better - there is no scientific evidence that says this will have a detrimental effect on you or your progress during a reboot. You didn't consciously seek out any hyperstimuli like P, and your hand wasn't involved. You have not reinforced the main negative pathways responsible for this addiction. Chin up bud, you're still doin' great!

Simply adding on, in hopes that an abundance of agreement helps you understand: you are not at fault for a wet dream. You do not have to reset. You are at peak progress right now.

If you want a full recovery, more importantly, if you want to become efficient in how you navigate the world, you have to learn the difference between voluntary and involuntary actions. Then you need to take responsibility only for the voluntary ones.

Your body having a wet dream is the result of your current physiology, and possibly your previous decisions. Reboot is all about undoing the negative consequences of previous decisions. As long as your current, voluntary decisions are aligned with your conscious values, and right now it seems like they are, you are 100% on the right track.

Sometimes you’re going to experience negative consequences from previous decisions. That’s unfortunate, past you sabotaging present you. But the entire point of your quitting porn is for present you to suffer so that future you can reap the positive consequences.

You’re doing great. Don’t talk yourself into believing otherwise.

  7. Your body is used to releasing, and then going on streaks, it's part of the process. There are measures you can take to prevent them from occurring, but if and when they do, you just carry on with your streak.

Have you ever relapsed after a wet dream? You can feel the enormous difference between them.

It sounds like you're heavily focused on semen retention (forgive me if that's inaccurate), which basically looks down at wet dreams like a blasphemy, rather than something involved in the process. Semen retention is the ultimate goal, but in the journey to reach that goal, your body and mind has to adapt and adjust to the retention of this energy. Until it has (and the only way is a long streak), wet dreams are still a possibility. Like I said, there are ways to try and prevent them, but the important thing is to keep going in your journey!
