So far I've reached TWENTY NINE DAYS of my target of NINETY DAYS.

So far, telling myself I am allowed to do anything else other than PMO/Fap seems to have some impact.

The only problem is that it can lead to risky behaviours such as alcohol use, sugar, food and process addiction.

Usually when I reach around this timescale, things become more difficult, because I either have strong urges, or feelings of flatline.

It's not as though I don't have other things to do - in fact - today, my goal was to completely clean the house. That is a task that I started but didn't complete yet. I hate cleaning, but I know that it must be done.

When you do NoFap and NoPMO for a long time, you get inside you all this stored up energy and brainpower. But you must do something with that, or it just turns on itself and makes you want to dissipate the potential energy because you are not using it.

During the week, I am engaged - I have a job that I like doing that suits my mental condition and absorbs me, but I have problems when it comes to "self directing", or "executive function" - so as I sit here writing this I have so many tasks that must be completed.

    - Write a thank you card for person A with some monero in it for before Tuesday
    - Write a thank you card for person B for before Monday
    - Write a thank you card for person C for before Tuesday
    - Write a letter to my chiropodist to correct my name and date of birth
    - Clean the house
    - Cook some dinner (I am lazy when it comes to cooking and food, so it will be simple oven food from the freezer).
    - Fill out client application forms for specialist service

And that is just the beginning... How to know what Task to begin with, I know that house needs cleaning... badly, and because I will be busy all week next week, if I don't do it now, then I wont get a chance in the week and I will be living in a dirty house.

Moreover the best way I have found to clean the house is to first put on some headphones, listen to some music or a podcast and then I can clean the house with my subconscious mind. I'm pretty sure I have some kind of special needs or something which is why I can't just do things "normally".

After I have written this message I will GO, and GET TO IT. There is so much laziness in me, but tomorrow is Sunday, I must do all the things I need to do today, to set up tomorrow/Sunday where I can be completely lazy in a guilt-free manner.

I can get bogged down so much in the activity of "Task Management" that getting the tasks done takes a back seat.. If anyone ever saw "Red Dwarf", it is like Arnold Rimmer building his masterpiece of a revision timetable, only to have no time for actual revision.

I'm hitting POST REPLY now and then leaping into action.... ACTION is needed today, this house makes me lazy and that's not allowed.

  5. Hi friend. I have noticed a change in my perspective. Instead of trying to "break" the PMO cycle, I feel like I am now able to "step outside" of it instead. I can see it more clearly now, realize what a waste of time it is, how bad it is for my mental/physical health, etc., and just choose not to go there. It is like shifting from pure willpower/determination to stop, to a kind of wisdom to just avoid the cycle in the first place.

    Day 53/90

So hard to avoid porn and sexual images sometimes, especially on whattsapp groups with friends and work friends. Been deleting vids and images straight away. Glad I came off FB and insta too its definitely helped my reboot ... just too much temptation out there sometimes

    Day 54/90
I'm proud of living without PMO for this much time. I am learning more natural ways of relaxing and coping with my thoughts, brain and environment now. My sexual fantasies have waned considerably also which is a major relief. I definitely have more energy now im not using up all my time & energy viewing and masturbating to P. However I still feel pain, sadness, frustration and loneliness some days. You have to get used to ups and downs when rebooting thats something I've learned during this, each day isn't better than the last, although the trend over time is upward. The mood swings do decrease over time so it gets easier and easier to just let them pass.

    Stay strong brothers!

Day 0 (5): Another relapse since the beginning of the challenge. At this time I cannot identify the trigger. Perhaps it was a fantasy. For this time I've come to that point that I don't feel the satisfaction from the M. P also gives me a lot of questions. Yet, I've done what I've done. I'm not happy about it but I don't hate myself as I used to do. Yet, it's difficult to do, but at this time I forgave myself for my doing. What do I feel physically? Well, i feel that my head is like squeezed by something, or someone is squeezing my brain in his hands. What should I do next? The answer is the same: keep fighting. But as I said before, I need new methods. Restrictions are good, but temporary. Changing both habits into something else need to be tried.
