Long story short I started nofap around last October I believe. Abuser basically my whole life, up to 10+ times a day pmo.

anyways I stopped in October. Had a minor relapse of a few weeks around 3 months ago. But have been clean since.

in the past 2 weeks I’ve noticed minor trouble urinating. No pain really, but I constantly feel like I have to pee. I pee almost every 30 minutes. I do drink a lot of water because I lift a lot so that’s part of it. But my bladder just feels sensitive. I feel it’s Nofap related because around as soon as this started I went dead down there bedroom wise. No erection since. I’ve noticed my attitude has changed in this time as well. Much more confident, more aggressive in a good way, brain feels “smarter” like it’s working better. Maybe my hormones are still recovering or something?

I did go see a physician assistant who did a urine test and told me my urine is fine, no UTI or anything. She did say if it persists probably go see a specialist but honestly I’m pretty sure this is nofap related. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I read someone on here from years ago say it messes with your bladder bc thinking back to when you abused pmo you would (atleast I would) often times hold it if you had to go bc you wanted to keep watching and keep going. So it makes sense your bladder probably has to recover too…

I’m no doctor but I believe it’s two things. Ur body recovering especially if it was 10 times a day. And also a lot of times fapping relieves stress and anxiety. When I’m in class I feel like I have to pee because I get anxious. I believe ur body is recovering and u have general anxiety. I went through same thing. Just start lifting, meditating, doing something else to deal with ur days!

Also I saw u said 10 times a day for years. Did you ever experience penis shrinkage?

  4. It's probably the healing process taking shape. Abstinence hasn't caused this, you caused it by PMO'ing for so long. What's great here is that you've taken responsibility and are hopefully on the mend at this point. Try to think logically. If you harmed yourself with this unhealthy habit for years, there's likely no way you can be completely healed in a matter of weeks or even a couple months.
