Why am I always thinking of sex ?

    Hi guys , I am on my 4th day and completed 20 days earlier but then relapsed for 9 days in a row . I am always thinking about sex . I get up in the morning and lay on my bed for an hour or so thinking about having sex with different girls I see in my college or my apartment complex . I am watching a movie or reading a novel and a romantic or an emotional scene comes and here I am thinking about the exact same scenario in my head with a girl . I cant let this go , I need to stop thinking of sex and daydreaming . How to overcome these guys ??

    You'll have to distract yourself somehow.
    Are you a very busy person or not?
    If you're very busy you won't have time for thoughts like that and then I really hope that it will start to fade away after 90 days if you are persistent.

    Your mind is like a ink bottle, where ink is the dirty thoughts that you want to remove. But the thing is you cannot turn the bottle upside down to remove ink. To fill the bottle with clean water, you need to first of all stop pouring ink into the bottle i.e stop putting dirty content through your senses into your brain, then you put it under tap of pure water i.e you start putting good content in your brain, good and positive thoughts. Initially when you start adding pure water, dirty blue water will come out of ink pot, it means when you try to focus on good things and positive thoughts, mind because of habit goes back to old thoughts and tries to go back to PMO but if you continue to fill pure water, blue ink colour starts to fade, and after a interval of time only pure water will come out of ink pot. This is the case with your mind, if you continuously pour good thoughts, after some time your default content of brain will change.

    Your thoughts are nothing but permutation and combination of what you have taken in from different senses, basically they are your memories and imagination. When most of your thoughts are decided by your memory and habits, the first thing is you need to carefully select what you are putting in your brain, cause that will become your thoughts.

    And one more mistake people make is, to stop thinking about something, they continuously think "Dont think about this, dont think about this", well, the thing is your brain doesnt knows subtraction and division, it only functions with addition and multiplication. Think it like torch, what you focus on will be intensified. When you think, dont think about PMO, you are not subtracting thoughts, because thats not possible, you are just focusing on PMO and thoughts about those will be added. If you use more power, thoughts will instead be multiplied. Its like say to someone, dont think about monkey and they will definitely think about monkey.
    Thoughts can only be removed by replacement, instead of thinking, dont think about PMO, start thinking about what you want to focus on. For me, it was programming, for you it might be studies or some sports etc. Have some preset things, that you can turn your focus towards, whenever it goes away, bring your mind back to that subject. You will observe after few days, mind will stop going here and there. Thats why it is advisable to have a goal, a very powerful goal. A goal towards which you can direct all your energies. If you are not yet able to focus that intently on goal of your choice, then find for things that naturally take you in flow state.

  4. You've got to treat this like what it is: an addiction.

    You know what drug addicts in rehab are thinking about 24/7? Drugs. They're always thinking about drugs, about how uncomfortable they are, how much a fix would make them feel better, etc.

    One difference, however, about this addiction is that it isn't half as bad, physically, as getting off drugs. I know lots of people say that beating this addiction was harder for them than getting off of drugs, but nobody can honestly say that the withdrawal symptoms of quitting porn are as bad as quitting drugs. Depending on how severe your addiction is, quitting drugs cold turkey could literally be dangerous to your body. People have actually died from that.

    Good news is, you're not going to die from quitting PMO. You're not going to go into withdrawal and get shakes and fevers and vomiting and all of the other horrible things that come with quitting drugs.

    That mindset helps me to stay strong. Because if people can overcome drug addiction against all of those horrible withdrawal symptoms plaguing them, then surely I can stop PMOing.

    The problem is that when you M or watch P it will only increase your lust for sex. What you have to try to do is a clean break from this. Focus on other things. It's going to pop up in your head anyway ofc but don't let it consume you or make you PMO. After a few days it will decrease but it's a constant struggle. We are men and many of us thing of sex often.
