I have tried so many ways to block it but without success. Like for example DNS domain, blocksite, covenant eyes...

On my iphone I have covenant eyes and I am using screen time with password that I can not remember. It is working perfectly. I have not seen porn on my phone since then.

I was thinking about setting up DNS domain on my wifi router, but there is no such option and I can not spend money for new one.

Like permanently permanently? Break it beyond fixing and don't buy a new one.

There's no porn blocker in existence that absolutely couldn't be disabled. Even if there was, there'd be plenty of other ways to find porn. If you're at the point where you have porn blocker but will just disable it whenever you want to watch porn, you'll unfortunately be able to do that.

What you need to do is destroy the internet. Of course, porn will still be around but not internet porn.

  4. You have to trust yourself not to look. That's the only way it worked for me.

  5. I tried to find a way to block porn permanently on my iPhone alone and just ended up discovering a way to override its built-in blockers. Part of being addicted to porn/masturbation is knowing that if you absolutely want to PMO, you will. The best blocker is your own mind. So to directly answer your question, because what can be called "porn" can be subjective (hence the term "p-sub") and how every blocker has a way around it, you can't and you likely never will. Short of abandoning using the Internet entirely.

My complete lack of self-control is ruining me in many ways. For example junk food, but this is the easiest one. I throw away all unhealthy food and problem is solved. But what can I do with porn, throw away my computer or live without internet?

Buy this blocker called Cold Turkey Blocker. Block all websites except for the ones that you want to use. You can't miss a porn website if you block all of the websites except the ones that you allow. You can run this block for a week, and then change after that if you forgot anything. You can then do this for every week. I've gotten to the point where I don't need any blocker now, so I don't use it anymore.

That is tremendous progress Francis. IMO, blockers should not be used long-term.
And it is good to know that you have the resilience to resist PMO without that tool.

Thanks. It's really hard for me to imagine going back to PMO again. After a while, you just view it in a different light. I do agree with you: blockers should only be used in the short term.

There are far better ways to do this. Please don't create more e-waste than necessary.

There is an app called self control. It allows you to block domains for a time period. For this time it will stay blocked and you can do nothing to change it. Even uninstalling the app won't work. I block many websites and domains using this app.
    You too can try it.
PS:-Not sure if it works on mobiles too.

SelfControl is a Mac app that helped me a bit during my college days with procrastination.

  18. I started off with this, it can help you create some separation, but the ultimate things is changing and improving yourself so you can make better decisions.
